This board was never something back in the day, it was the same old but with different faces who weren't recognized for their merit until they were chased out or left on their own. Newfags will be talking about current /p/ nostalgically five years from now too.

Since /fa/ and /p/ have merged this might be a good opportunity to ask, what's the best way to take a flattering selfie? I'd like to take some but they always turn out like horseshit, I don't understand angles, lighting, and all this other stuff.

Any suggestions for taking /fa/ selfies?

I feel like a lot of it just good lighting and not taking one facing downward. It also helps if you know how you look your best, like for me personally my 3/4 profile makes me look way better than just a straight head on

>what's the best way to take a flattering selfie
You start with not taking a selfie with the front camera. Instead get a clamp for it (I have a Square Jellyfish one) and a tripod. Set it up how you like it and then put a timer on it.
Alternatively, you could get a decent camera and do what this dude does where he has a remote in his hand so he doesn't have to run to the spot while the timer is counting down.

Not sure if I should be asking in /out/ or here, but can anyone help me find the same or a similar getup to this look?

Even just the jacket and boots would be great.

I want to buy about ten good-fitting solid color tee shirts for a decent price. I read the sticky but it's ancient and none of the recommended stores are actually cheap.

What would /fap/ recommend?

I think fashion wise, the best features are
>pronounced collarbone
>thin limbs
>small waist
>long neck
>long legs
>no double chin

As long as you got those you can turn a look imo

The Uniqlo Secret
7 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Uniqlo was literally never any good. Their sweaters were always paper thin ill-fitting garbage, their socks sucked and always ripped, and everything else was average. Jeans and chinos are $50, but guess what, so are Levi's.

Uniqlo is only good when comparing to H&M. If looking at it absolutely as opposed to relatively, Uniqlo is shit and always has been

It was possible in the past, before the electric razors exist, to maintain a short beard like we do today for long periods of time?

I mean maintaining a beard of 4-6mm always like that. I think it wasn't possible and that is the reason why when we see someone of that time with a beard they have those long beards or nothing. Maybe you can find some with a beard a little shorter than pic related but not as short as nowdays.

Also, why all intellectuals from the 18th century had long beards? What was the meaning behind it? Maybe it was a way to say: I'm different and I'm so wise that I can have this beard and no one can say me anything?

Hair clip or bun.jpg

I was watching the movie gang of New York and in one of the scenes, Leonardo DaCaprio has this hair clip/bun thing (pic related). I was just wondering if you Anons could help me out by giving me the name of what this cloth and pin, hair clip/ bun thing are? Out of all my searches, I haven't been able to find anything like it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
