Shower....

My hair is naturally curly and I hate it. I started doing semi nopoo where I wash it every 7-10 days, and it's much better than it was before.
It's been about 10 weeks since I had a haircut, and now it's going afromode again. I usually shower in the morning, which causes it to look horrible, so I have to put a hat on to press it down before I leave. It looks alot better if I don't shower.
What do I do? I would easily trade it for straight hair but straightening procedures are expensive and don't work properly.

Yeah I think you could look good with a shorter cut. Couldn't find something that was exactly what I was imagining but maybe something similar to pic related just without the faded beard. Get the sides faded/tapered to beard length and short on top maybe a bit choppier depending on hair thickness.

Although that might be too similar to what you've had. Don't know how long you've been at that specific length and don't know what the sides currently look like.
