if i wash these will the pleat on the front go away?
What kind of measurements work best for skinny jeans? Like how much longer than the circumference of my legs at the knees, ankles etc? How much should I taper?
What should I take the length from? Like the Waist to the ankles?
I basically have a few decent old fat jeans that I want to tailor and I need specific instructions that I should give to the tailor.
Pic semi-related I suppose, but w/e is considered as the /fa/ ideal.
maybe find a picture with the exact fit you want and show it to the tailor? i'd imagine it's the same as when you're going to a barber: showing a picture is the easiest way to get it how you want it.
you're close, all you have to do is go pants shopping, find the perfect fit and bring those with you to the tailor and tell him to make the other pants fit like those, he'll take some measurements and tada. The place I go to sells levis so I just pull a pair of 510s off the rack and have the guy make my pants fit the same.
Well that would work with my regular tailor but he said that he doesn't work with denim. I honestly don't trust some complete stranger to do it properly and besides I doubt he's used to requests like "make it so it cuffs like those rappers". So yeah really simple exact measurements would be really really helpful.
They occur if,
The pants are too tight or too big. If you Iron them and they are proper fitting yes they should go away.
Unless youre talking about actual pleats like pic related then no sorry.
just make sure they aren't actually pleated, the pleat is where the fabric is folded over on the waste.
how do I into this fucking GOAT hairstyle?
I've got black, thick as fuck hair
It's had a lot of impact on streetwear culture but it's more of a highschool skater brand than high fashion. I never liked it
Has anyone here ever ordered or heard about stylisticsjapan.com?
If so what was your experience and can they be trusted?
Can anyone recommend something similar to this for <$300?
Run slowly but for a long time, like 2h a day, you'll lose the fat quick because the body use fat for fuel when you run slow and other stuff when quick, you should be able to speak during the run
I've got a bomber Harrington thing and a nice raincoat already. However, I feel I need more outerwear. What are some nice jacket styles for me to look into?
They are 1461s, but don't think they are the monos, just the picture has been made black and white
Pic rel is a pair of mono
how do i shrink just the leaves on a shirt?
right now theyre too baggy
Jackets similar to this?
I need something for rainy days in spring and summer, bonus points if similar design and color.
This one is from wesc but maybe you can suggest me something better
you cant shrink a part of a garment but you can tailor them, if you have patience or a sewing machine then there are shitload of tutorial videos on youtube on how to do it
Can a pastel yellow shirt be salvaged in any way? It looks sort of like pic related but in cotton. What the fuck do I do with it.
Please give me an excuse not to throw it out /fa/
It's already sort of pastel yellow because of the lightness of the fabric itself compared to the flannel in pic related. But even so, what then?
What would I wear it with, I cant imagine anything looking good with fucking yellow in my head.
get the facial stuff for your face, like Neutrogena or some shit. You can get some in yellowy brown shades so you won't look pasty but I can't comment on how it actually turns out since I'm pale as fuck and it'd look stupid on me
Didn't get any replies in the previous thread :(
1 Do those double d-ring buckle-belts really work ?
2 How's the fit on uniqlo blazers ? I've got an average body type (not a skellington).
where can i cop same good woolsocks for summer ?
what are some brands that sell effay shorts in a 28 or 27 waist
>1 Do those double d-ring buckle-belts really work ?
I have a cheapy synthetic webbing one with plastic rings that I've worn essentially every day for seven years. It's fine. Not that great for carrying things (pouches, holsters? Idk) on, but I can't imagine anyone on /fa/ wants to do that anyway.
I have a pair of Smartwool dress socks that seem to hold up pretty well and are nice when I'm on my feet for long periods. Icebreaker makes good shit, although I've never tried their socks.
Ok, here goes /fa/:
>can wear it dancing (i.e., decent ROM, probably not super heavy)
I have some 501 STFs which are pretty good for daily wear but whose crotches I blew out as soon as I started dancing seriously. IDK if it's a fit issue or if I should just get another pair and preemptively reinforce them in the gooch area. Thoughts?
I'm no expert, but I don't think clip-ons are very /fa/. I'd consider getting contact lenses for sun, sports, and socializing if your insurance pays for it, maybe buying a cheap pair of glasses online for daily wear.
ok guys, how am I doing so far?
bear in mind that I'm new and came from a streetgoth/memeninja mindset
any advice deeply appreciated.
Is 75° too hot for a light long sleeve button up and pants? Fuck, I mean I've had 3 people ask me today if I'm hot. What is wrong with people's internal body temperatures, I mean, fuck it isn't like it's 80 or 90, jesus. :^(
How are levis pant's sizes like?
Trying to cop a pair of ebay and they're in, for example 30x30.
What do these numbers mean?
Thanks man. And yeah, I've never bought pants online though, I just go to stores and try pants on untill I find a pair that fits. I'm assuming that 30x30 is pretty much one of the small-medium sizes then?
bro you need to go get fitted
any store that sells jeans should have different sizes, try and find one that fits well, when you have levis they tend to stretch a lot so maybe consider going one down on the waist (so if you are 31x32, go 30x32, etc. etc.)
Thanks for reminding me of something I've been meaning to ask /fa/
This here wool Kangol, y/n? Also same one but in black.
My head is shaved btw.
How to pronounce "roshe"?

got a formal coming up and need a white dress shirt

what would you buy for under $60
Hey, /g/entooman here, this is the equivalent of the Stupid Questions Thread here, right?
Are there shoes that's comfortable enough for like 5 miles of walking, that goes with a suit? It doesn't have to be great looking, this is for a work suit not a sexy suit. I would prefer under $200.
Lasts differ so some shoes might not suit your feet.
If you have a wide forefoot and shoes restrict your toe splay then it can cause knee and back problems as it hinders your natural gait.
Is there an ideal website to look at several different designer's lookbook? I'm in a rut where I'm not sure how I want to dress and someone gave me some good advice about looking through different lookbooks but I'm not sure where to start.
what's the best "I'm fashionably retarded" thing to read, in order to understand what set of basics to get, how to pair them, etc?
I know sticky's always the refrain, but it's out of date as hell, and what's there isn't very substantive. Beyond that, lurking doesn't seem to help, because people just post ~3 word "it's shit" or "nice" bullshit filler responses instead of being a bit more effusive in rating/waywt/such threads, or vague inspo without any sort of qualification there, so I don't actually learn anything from it.
