I use apps like Evernote, MyFitnessPal. I will also use apps wherein it lets me track my goals. My phone also lets me take better pictures than a camera from mid-2000s. It's important for me because I enjoy street photography as a hobby and I don't have to bring my DSLR.

I used to play games on an iPad but I got tired of playing them anymore. I would much rather play PC games.

Had a Nokia 6300 last summer when I travelled but kept my smartphone with WiFi for apps and internet access. It held a charge for two weeks and was just incredibly convenient. I have an unlocked smartphone now so it shouldn't be a problem but part of me wants to use the 6300 again
I had forgotten how frustrating T9 is.

I have a Nokia 208 and a Galaxy S3. Both take the same sim and my 32 gig micro SD. I use them interchangeably, especially when my smartphone becomes too much of a distraction (post grad student).
