how harmful are they? How many will I have to use, and for how long, to achieve the GOAT natural-looking off white?

I've had people say I have nice teeth. My teeth are straight, I don't drink coffee (or anything that stains teeth) or smoke so that helps.

P. good actually. never had braces and they're pretty much perfect...semi-regularly get complimented on 'em. One black filling on one of my molars from when I was young though.

i've inexplicably grinded my teeth my whole life which has left the enamel on my 2 front teeth pretty thin, almost see-through
go to the dentist and ask to get a mouthguard made that you can wear at night. It won't stop you grinding but it will stop you wearing down your teeth. I assume you're in the US so it might be expensive (in the UK it's like £70) but it is worth every penny. They last years

I used only 15 and they helped a lot, didn't have any side effects. But it's really noticeable. If you have fairly sensitive teeth then stay away from it tho. My teeth aren't that sensitive, I've felt a slight buzzing sensation after taking them off but that lasted for like 2 hours. Overall I'm very satisfied, especially with the prices on eBay.

How much were they?

I never had a dental plan growing up, couldn't afford anything because we were poor and I don't remember going to the dentist since maybe I was 6 or 7. My teeth hurt often, there are quite a few that are crooked, they're discolored, one of the front 2 has such a huge and noticable black spot (cavity), they barely have any enamel and I sincerely plan on killing myself.

Went through 2 rounds of braces before that jew of an orthodontist told me that the structure of my lower jaw was bigger than what would fit normally behind my top row of teeth. i.e. braces didn't do shit.

Yeah, American. I was pretty self-conscious about my teeth, and had pretty much been wanting braces throughout all of high school. They weren't very crooked, but I had a lot of spaces between my teeth that I really didn't like. If you think they'd make you more confident, I say it's worth the money.

My bottom teeth are a fucking catastrophe, but luckily my top teeth are really good and they cover the bottom ones when I smile.

pretty sure i got a quote on invisalign for quite a bit less than that not long ago. my mum did it a few years ago and it worked out well for her. been thinking about going through with it but right now i'm dealing with inexplicable pain from one of my incisors. after some x-rays and a panoramic radiograph my dentist referred me to some specialist in the city, i've got an appointment next week. still have no clue what's wrong. oh well, wish me luck.

what suburb was the invisalign ortho? ive been to two consults in the city and they're asking for 7.5 - 8k and invisalign is about $700 more expensive. maybe my teeth are extra fucked up. hope your specialist gives u some hopeful news, i know that feel of fucked up teeth problems. hurts my confidence a lot.

got a quote through my local dentist, haven't bothered to get a proper consultation done with an ortho yet due to my other problems. i think my mum did it through duncan orthodontics, not sure how much she paid exactly. my teeth aren't especially bad, just a little bit of crookedness and gaps that i want sorted out. best of luck mate.

And what's up with the weird bumps on my teeth? My dentist said most people grow out of them by 18 but I'm years past that now. Is it bad, or should I get them filed down?

I got braces when I was twelve because my mom insisted on it, even though my teeth really weren't bad, I only had to wear them for six months. So they're fine but I was really lazy about brushing my teeth all throughout high school so my teeth are a bit yellowy now. It's not bad, like other other don't notice it, but I really want to get them cleaned professionally (they looked so beautiful after my ortho cleaned them after taking my braces out). Shame it's so expensive. I'll probably still end up doing it because I'm vain.

hers worked out to about $5000 paid on monthly installments, but she says it's gotten cheaper. i think due to some sort of problem with medicare classifying it as a mouthguard rather than orthodontics? it'll also depend on how severe your problems are. as far as i can recall my quote was quite a bit cheaper than that.

eh they weren't great but i'm not sure it was something i ever really considered. she did the full system though, not lite. she had 50 sets of invisalign guards over two years. i'll likely only have to do lite if i go through with it, and that's usually only one year or less.

my parent spent over $10,000 on a palette expander, braces, retainers, and fancy oral surgeon xray appointments when i was young

my adult eye teeth are like high up in my mouth so all of my dental things were done assuming they would never come down
now one of them has come down and is still moving just to where it will knock the tooth in that place out and possible the adult tooth next to it
so basicAlly, unaffordable oral surgery probably in my future

also, my teeth are still crooked, although all the work made a huge difference. pic related is something like what my teeth looked like in elementary school, although my crowding was a lot worse

Asshole dentist removed my lower central incisor and braced them together so my teeth are permanently shit. I want to get them fixed someday, but it would be a lot of money to
-make the space.
-get the implant-
-straighten the implant.

I have a small gap between front teeth and a little overbite but it doesn't bother me enough to get braces. Otherwise my teeth are pretty straight and white.
