the most important thing is to just do it. any amount of time. even 5 minutes, but do it consistently. every other day, but make sure it's consistent.

do not let your feelings or mood get in the way.

the second key to workout is intensity. you have to sweat, you have to push. you do NOT have to be a gym rat. but you slowly build intensity over a long time.

do not make it complicated. do simple stretching before workout and running. that's it. use your common sense.
