Once it's clear you've lived in your clothes, people will just accept them as an extension of you rather than a facade you've put on. Attitude is obviously a factor as well. American Eagle is actually not bad on sale. Some people swear by their jeans. Obviously pick simple stuff.

Banana Republic is also good when it's on sale. I like their tees.

Clarks are basic, but fine. Again, I wouldn't get anything unless it's on sale.

Gap has good khakis called 'lived-in slim'

j crew is fine on sale, but it's pretty overpriced at retail.

See the trend? Mall stores are usually a mediocre value but if you pick and choose carefully from stores you know and always shop during sales you can find some good deals.

I'm in need of a jacket that I can just pick up and wear for every day occasions. How to slim down thighs? I have very muscular thighs from years of soccer, and I've been trying to get them slimmer so jeans fit me better. I tried on some Levi 511 commuters yesterday and they fit perfectly at the waist and throigh the knee, but below the knee they looked baggy as hell. Any advice?
