Happy Socks got some pretty good shit

Stance makes amazing socks. I like colorful and ridiculous patterns. Their socks are thick and warm and you can feel the quality. On pair I bought was misaligned by a single row of thread though. My ocd kicked in now it hurts to wear them.

Yes. Fine merino breathes and wicks well even in the heat. Cotton just gets nasty. It's a terrible fiber for making socks out of.

cotton socks wick horribly, sog and smell, and don't protect from moisture like wool, or breath as well.

once you get wool socks, you just can not go back to cotton.

try smartwool socks.

most quality merino wool is coming from new zealand, which means high shipping costs, which means pricier than cotton socks.. even a cheap pair thats like 60% wool (the rest is usually nylon and another synthetic) will cost around $15.

you can get some ok thick wool socks at costco for like 3 pairs for $20, ok for winter, no variety. still prefer to cotton socks.
