summertime clothes edition
are you too fucking stupid to use reverse image search?
God this shit pisses me off so fucking much. They are literally just Stan Smiths with a fucking R on them in a different tint.
They are cool, but they aren't >$300 cool
just copped these, did i do alright? was getting tired of levi's and wanted to step up..
Haven't bought A&F since early 2000s, what's the branding like on them now? I don't need a moose tramp stamp like I see some kids wearing. Their quality is actually pretty good though for the cost iirc.
That's being pretty pedantic, it's not like changing the trainers in the first fit to beige would change the look significantly. Darker colours look fine in palewave fits as long as they fit the general washed out tone of the aesthetic.
Brushed shetlands tend to look like this after a few washes
Fair, but it's purists like that which are the reason why so many of the fits actually posted here are just stonewash jeans, white sneakers and cream sweaters. People need to be able branch out a bit from the blue and white colour selection.
how am I doing. recently ordered some stans so that should clear up the chuck issue
> People need to be able branch out a bit from the blue and white colour selection.
Oh I agree completely, I just feel like black is a really safe way to do that to the point where it just looks normal.
Let's clear a few things up.
1) Black and navy is not palewave under any circumstance
2) Wearing a white tee, lighwash jeans, and grey NBs is dressing like a dad, not palewave
3) Stop asking if your fit is palewave. Does it follow the palette or not? It's not complicated.
I'm not trying to tell you how to dress. But if your going to follow a trend, at least do it correctly.
>1) Black and navy is not palewave under any circumstance
Depends on the tone bro, earth and stormy sky are pretty close to normal black and navy. The key is framing them right.
>2) Wearing a white tee, lighwash jeans, and grey NBs is dressing like a dad, not palewave
It's a boring fit but it fits in with the look, there's no denying that
>3) Stop asking if your fit is palewave.
Agree with this. Just go with a fit if you like it, so what if it deviates slightly from classic fits in the aesthetic? No-one ever did anything cool by following others.
> But if your going to follow a trend, at least do it correctly.
This is a restrictive mindset
If you ain't rocking the nonnative short sleeve sweater you aint makin it
attached fit pic. i'm 5'8 144 about a 30 in levi's. i'm wearing a size 29.
they are the most comfortable jeans i own now
also available at la garconne's site.
do you think you could have get even a 28?
I'm asking this because I'm a little smaller than you(5'7 x 130lb and I usually wear a 30) and cannot decide between a 28 or a 29(even though I want a pair new standard for a more relaxed fit)
definitely in the warmer months
hey anon, from my experience with apc i'd say you could probably fine with a 28. my apc raws are a 28 and albeit tight they fit. went with the 29 which is still one down because these aren't raw and don't stretch as much from what i've read and been told
there's a girl at my school who's decked out in palewave 24/7
she's got a denim backpack, boyfriend fit light wash jeans, sometimes she'll wear an off-white turtleneck. it's honestly bizarre seeing someone so stylish where i live. looks straight out of /fa/.
