That would completely ruin the subtly of the piece. It's a fantastic coat as is. But just imagine taking it off and someone catching a glimpse of it instead of having it forced upon them if it was always visible. To me it fits very well with yohjis narrative, very experimental and memorable designs but almost always hidden just below the surface of classic pieces. That coat is just this a classic long coat with a beautiful surprise on the inside.

Right? It all feels so uninspired now. His early album-based collections like Can were great because the idea was still fresh and new. Now he just falls back on another seminal album every season. It was bad enough to see Jesus & Mary Chain, but now Television too? I understand that he's trying to make this style of album 'homage' one of his signature looks, but it comes off as unoriginal bordering on artistic theft. It's like the fuccboi Givenchy-esque tactic of printing an iconic painting on a shirt and selling it for $600.
The jeans do seem like the best pieces of the collection because they're more subtle, but the jacket in OP makes me cringe.
