Any university/schoolfags on? What kind of backpack do you use?
I've been using a jansport with a broken zipper for like 2 years now and it sucks. Looking for inspiration/recommendations on a new, nice looking backpack.
in the same boat, been using an ugly dakine bag for too long
>>9457458
How are those?
>>9457464
some of them are fine but looks like a list for grills
I use a chrome bag, but don't unless you bike to school/work
>>9457451
I use some cheap, simple puma backpack. I see niggers rocking the same backpack as me lol
>>9457451
use a regular bag ive had for years. in the summer i kick around with one of those canvas bags that are like an alice pack. like the everlane snap in picture 2. but my grail bag would be the mission workshop arkiv. unless i find a really nice one like my canvas one for cheap, like a surplus one or something. ill cop that instead, i think it fits the aesthetic i try to go for better.
>>9457471
I just ordered the night series off amazon for 110 because I commute on a motorcye. Then I looked around and saw this and would've copped it instead. I call it a wash because this was 200 and I still had 90 left over to get a pair of ray ban boyfriends but this is still sexy as fuck.
Can someone i.d. this bag for me please I used to know it but I forgot.
>>9457487
WOW those mission arkiv field bags look perfect (a little big for me, kind of)!!
they're a little out of my budget at the moment, but i'll definitely keep them in my mind for the future.
>>9457549
theres two sizes im pretty sure. theres like a regular one and some special one thats more expensive. the regular one is two sizes.
>>9457566
didn't see that was posted. thanks.
>>9457451
Is anyone gonna comment on OP putting noko in subject and name line?
>I remember my first 4chan...
i bought this at best buy
>>9457603
hasnt been for a long ass time
>>9457588
lmfao i was waiting for someone to point that out
it took a while
ii-se makes pretty dope daypacks. had mine for a year now and its holding up pretty nicely.
>>9457556
actually yea the R2 is great in size
but it's like upward $350ish
I use a Timbuk2 Showdown daily for school. 23 litre volume and nice amount of pockets.
Also has a separated main compartment w/ pocket organizer and a separated laptop compartment that's already padded and lined with some fur-like stuff.
why are people posting reddit images? the reason I come to this board is to get variation, not consensus. are we becoming reddit, styleforum, etc 2.0?
>>9457677
lol. apparently stock images and compiled collages are considered "reddit images"
Picked up one of these cuz I got a good discount on them and it has a nice sleeve that fits my laptop perfectly.
>>9457673
wow $89, right in my price range
just what i was looking for
thank you!
w2c techwear messenger under 200 eur
I use a Cote et Ciel Isar. I got it on sale during black Friday, medium size. I love it, I thought they were over hyped but I can tell now that they aren't. The quality is evidently a few notches above any other bag I've ever seen. Will cop again when this one dies if it ever does
You guys think I can sharpie that white zipper thing navy so it doesn't stand out?
>>9457451
The gr1, man. I'll never use another backpack, I love it.
I just got this one for 15$, looks better irl, a nice jet black. And cheap as fuck.
>>9457864
I've tried that on other articles of clothing and I just end up regretting it, so I wouldn't :(
>>9457739
>>9457673 (I posted this)
no problem. keep researching. I used to use an ALITE Designs Kochiba, but it's Cordura was too thin, so water would just leak in.
This is pretty good. I can fit 5 marble notebooks, 1 spiral 5 subject book, a medium sized text, 3 page flex binder, Macbook Air 13", and a bunch of other stuff in it.
And I just love the organization. I carry multiple colored pens and a fountain pen, as well as other stuff like chargers and toiletries.
>>9457864
Don't sharpie it, get a two dollar thing of navy or black fabric paint.
Backpacks are for children or for yuppies in Europe.
Get a messenger bag. Either one that hangs at the hip or slings across the back. It's got great support, more room, and tighter style. It also means you can carry more storage on your person if you need to for some other reason, like camping or whatever.
>>9458107
It's also great for neck pain and having one shoulder higher than the other :)
Also messenger bags look really bad if you put non-rectangular things in them
>>9457451
i typically go about my daily business with a grey ghost gear stealth operator pack. it's a pretty good pack made by a tacticool gear company and won't run you broke, and doesn't have obscene amounts of molle webbing all over it.
>>9457673

Mine from this year, got it for 20 bucks at Burlington while it was 65 online. Pretty based.
>>9458107
>Shitting on backpacks
>And proceeding to praise messenger bags
Nigger if you had recommended a nice briefcase with a shoulder strap I would have backed you but fuck off with your faggot special snowflake shit.
>TFW rocking a plebeian name-brand backpack and can't move up to a nice briefcase due to them costing upwards of 600 dollars.
>>9457451
I have a Cote&Ciel Isar Rucksack. It's pretty nice, I've had mine for a year now and it's held up pretty well. I take it everywhere. It can look wierd with too much stuff in it and can be uncomfortable, but I like the way it looks and it's got a nice section in the back for a laptop and papers and whatnot. It's a bit spendy but I think it's worth it.
What are some other recommended sling bags?
>>9457656
I've got the ash one, had it since they first came on the market. I love it, but the shoulder strap is starting to rip a bit.
Beautiful materials which have aged really nicely over time but if I had my time again, I think I'd just go for the Fjallraven one in black. >>9457464
OP go for the Fjallraven one. It's super durable and a decent shape, drawback is every hipster owns one
>>9458244
Chrome Industries. You will look like a tryhard if you use it off of a motorcycle tho.
>>9458594
>Chrome
>motorcycles
/fa/, pls
Are there any bags that are water proof that look nice? I want one to walk around town with, not look like I'm going to go sleep in the woods.
>>9458664
I have a mission workshop fitzroy which is nice and waterproof, I have to carry a crazy amount of stuff though so If I was anyone else I'd go with one of their 20 litre bags
i live in a small ass university town in germany and most self-proclaimed hip kids wear herschel
if the trend arrived here it's already long dead everywhere else
>>9458664
Ortlieb, it's only 80€ too
but fairly normcore. depends on how you wear it
>>9458297
>drawback is every hipster owns one
and they're tiny as fuck
>>9458297
yep, every idiot owns the kanken model and the straps are super uncomfortable
the tiny version also looks goofy on men
>>9457451
I really need to get a used one, all those look basic as fuck
This is the one I use. It's not really /fa/, but it has two compartments and fits all of the shit I carry around with me every day (school stuff and gym clothes). It's also pretty comfortable.
>>9457656
It's really nice but it looks easy as fuck to steal from that back pocket. I know this isn't really a problem on a campus, but if you want to use it outside.
>>9457656
where can I get these now, since they're all out of stock? Also, do you have any pics? I've never seen one irl
>>9457451
I've got a north face borealis memepack in vay and i like it pretty much.
>>9459544

Thoughts on the Haglöf Corker?

Wanted room for the laptop and my clothes in case im going to the gym after college
what are some black backpacks that have a sort of loose "sacky" look like >>9457520 ?
Had this bag for years.
It's falling apart now, rip. Gonna be hard to find something new I like. Everything seems either too tech/fancy or too simple.
>>9458664
I have a Chromeindustries Bravo. Look at their bags they are quite fa and most are waterproof.
>>9457451
I've gotten this recently. Is alright, sometimes I feel like it's a little too big.
I've had my eye on this one for a while, all their stuff looks pretty good to me

Thinking about copping this. Thoughts?
>>9457451
got the cote et ciel, it´s a great backpack.
>>9457656
So pretty... I really want one
Pic related is my happy backpack
>>9457451
Just bought the Patagonia Chacabuco, pretty nice
>>9461755
Terrible
Anyone have experience with Zign backpacks? Are they of good quality?
>>9461837
I just looked them up and they look terrible
rate my backpack
100% genuine top grain leather
>>9461839
What about this?
>>9459375
I think it looks pretty good. :)
>>9461718
I am waiting for that in the mail. How is it treating you? I heard the washers get broken off after extended use.
>>9457451
Anyone got any good travel backpack suggestions?
>>9461865
Looks really plain and square. I actually like the zign ones more.
If you just want something that looks like that with the 2 strap, just get a Herschel bag like every other high school student
>>9462379
The leather on the straps gets wrinkly as it ages (I've had mine since summer). I'm not any sort of leather expert, but I don't think it looks that attractive when you look at it closely.
The button/washer thing on one of the straps on mine turned loose like last week and it unbuttons itself all the time.
But I can't complain really, it's a great backpack for the price and I would totally recommend it
I think I bought this around September last year.
Holding up well for the price.
