>spending more than $10 on any part of your outfit
I guess that's cool if you're a total fuccboi that doesn't have anything to do besides dress like you're in a catalog.
Spent $13 today on a kick ass jacket, 3 hats, 6 shirts, and a pair of vans.
but...you look like a homeless person.

I'll stab ya with a broken vodka bottle you brat
>>9432907
Sorry, that was intentional.
I like to have fun.
Bumping my own thread, I'll admit it.
I'm going on a national tour soon, anyone know any cool thrift stores that we can stop at?
>>9433297
woah is mc ride smoking a cigarette there?
that's cool :)
your fit honestly doesn't look good and i get the entire thrift thing
i used to do this a couple years ago until i realized its gross and the majority of the shit you get isn't even good. you justify buying it because its so cheap.
shit never fits, stinks, you can tell when something is thrifted and idk man
>>9432900
Just bought this cardigan the other day for like 3 bucks.
I've been complemented on my own style plenty of times. I honestly believe some of my fits are pretty nice (obviously the op was not), I wash my clothes after buying them and avoid even slightly gross shit. I like to hear actual criticism though, thanks for the advice.
>>9432900
I would thrift errry day but the stores near me are total crap.
>>9433514
The only thing that I have bought that smelled even a little bit was a Leather Jacket, so I've been pretty lucky.
Bought this sweater and Denim button up in the same trip so I pretty stoked about that. You can't really tell from the picture but its a pretty nice cable knit.
>>9433568
I try to stay away from leather, lately I've been finding good hats though. Got a class of 2007 hat to wear with my class of 2000 shirt today.
>>9433568
Amazing fit
>>9433488

>>9433488

>>9435460
looks neat
>>9433568
dis some good thrift. yeah, smell usually isn't a problem for me either.
>>9434753
any potential in the hat is neutralized by awful t shirt.
>>9435460
>>9433488
these cardigans are shaped weird as frig, give off a mad "lol so thrifted" vibe
i'm only razzin u cause its the internet. i love a fellow thrifter.
may i ask what percentage of ur wardrobe is thrifted?
>>9435500
just that and 2 button ups (ones in pic related and other is a RL green red flannel)
>>9432900
One of the best finds of my life, a pair of Ann Demeulemeester sneakers for $25.
I wasn't such a fan of the extra material that essentially turned them into a "boot". I've since altered them into a standard High-top.
>>9433297
>national tour soon
wat who are you?
>>9435521
What they look like now, a much more versatile shoe imo.
>>9435533
dope
also i remember ur collection (rip those cp's)
>>9435533
How did you do that you sew it yourself?
Thats really good craftsmanship.
>>9435551
Thanks! Ahh the CP's will be fine, superficially they're great. It's just the interior of the heel needs some work.
>>9435553
It actually didn't need any sewing thankfully. The extra material was just attached with a single stitch so I just unpicked that (the wrapped laces cover the stitch lines). Then cut the tongue to the correct height using high-top cons as a template.
Pic related is my second favorite find, a pair of Crockett & Jones boots for $10.
b
if those are all your shoes in the background then you should stop buying ten dollar items and just buy one pair of decent shoes.
you are in the consumer trap still buying lots of stuff but justifying by spending lots of $10
no different to spending lots on one outfit.
>>9435533
Hot
>>9432921
>>9432900
u aussie?
>>9435942
I'm confused, are you saying that Ann Demeulemeester and Crockett & Jones do not make "decent shoes?" If that's the case then that would be just about the most stupid thing I've ever read.
Are you saying you would've left either of these shoes behind?
>>9432900
Mac pls leave
>>9435460

>>9435999

>>9435532
Punk roadie :^)
We're planning a diy tour from Ohio to cali and back. When we finish booking we'll have a donation and info thread on /mu/.
>>9432900
you look like you smell
do you smell?
>>9435460
Good to see you dropped the trip, faggot.
>>9436877
Nah, I have a neutral scent and I shower often
consignment stores are clearly superior. Little more expensive but way better clothing
I thrift every other week when I get my paycheck, spend like $25 for some awesome pieces. Not into catalog shit. If anyone is looking for good quality authentic looking flannels, thrift is the way to go. Also, some awesome corduroys to be found. + t shirts that are one of a kind and sweaters/cardigans that smell bad
>>9435533
Sick kicks, sicker dubs
Class of 2000 shirt mentioned earlier, some illuminate shit.
>>9432900
sup evan
>>9432900

Bumping with skate-core fit
>>9437243
fucking no, youre not skate core at all with those brand new vans
>>9437250
>brand new
Nigger I've been wearing these for 2 years. I got a big ass hole patched up with duct tape on the right shoe, they dirty as fuck. favorite shoes I've ever worn.
Nice one, you copied mac demarco's style
>>9437312
I guarantee OP has no idea who that is.
>>9437312
Just googled him, looks like a cool dude. Thanks for bringing that to my attention, guess I'll have to give away all my clothes and start from scratch huh.
>>9437304
You just look like a bumass nigga, and im saying that because no skater would dress like you, and even if you actually skated youd be the faggot who rocket ollies.
uh-oh
Bumped my thread again
>>9437243
That isnt skatercore at all.
>>9436906
much love
>>9437243
Skater fits have changed significantly recently
More fa sponsored skaters have become more popular and everyone tries to achieve their aesthetic while all normies may either praise or think oddly of them, but in reality they all look like shit because they really have no idea about clothes and believe that they must cop every supreme piece because it's "fashion by skaters, for skaters"
shirt - $2
jeans - $4
georgio armani belt - $2
vans odlskools - $4
being poor - priceless
>>9439462
LMFAO!!!!!
>>9439462
>someone actually bought new old skools, new pants that don't fit them right, and some shitty thrifted clothes thinking they'd fool someone into thinking "oh wow I spent $10 for this look ;^)"
>>9432900
i found a really ugly supreme cap last week
the stitching on the logo patch is coming loose
it doesn't look fake but who knows
what should i do with it?
>>9439499
Patch it up, make it your own. Go fucking ham. You're clothes are a personal statement, fucking yell.
>>9439542
can't tell if trolling
i'll probably just leave it in my room then because it is actually really ugly and a waste of money
>>9439462
You're thrifting wrong, go for louder shit. Get some color, it's the goddamn future so dress like it.
>>9439546
Being serious, sorry if you have no creativity.
>>9439557
i would consider myself creative
but i'm not very good with sewing or anything though nor am i interested in it
thanks for the suggestion though
>>9439562
Nigger I had a black hat with an anti-nazi patch sewn onto it with fucking dental floss. I had more complements on that fucking hat than anything else I've ever owned. You can be creative as all fuck but it doesn't mean shit if you don't fucking apply yourself. You literally have no reason not to try.
>>9433297
Junkies in Reno is great, they serve free beer.
>>9436815
It will be deleted
>>9437243
Skatercore? You just look like an average, tubby pleb.
>>9433568
tbh most pleather jackets smell like urine when bought brand new anyway
>>9439658
meh, so much for supporting local music
>>9439499
this is the cap i thrifted for like $4
pretty lame and you can see the logo is peeling off
>>9441467
dunno if it's real
can anyone check
>>9441473
its not fake. I can tell right now. Some glue can fix that patch really easily, good find you edgy nigga
>>9441473
also got a roll of paracord (i think it's paracord) for $2
it was plastic wrapped but i peeled it off
probably going to make bracelets
and not wear them because they look autistic
Ewwww
aren't you guys afraid of bed bugs and other shit in these secondhand clothes ?
>>9441478
oh haha thanks
i'm probably not going to wear it though cuz it looks kinda bad
do old hats have any resale value?
