What hairstyle should a black person have if he wears semi-formal or 'preppy' fits? Also, should I keep or shave my widow's peak?

I dress in sweaters/cardigans/suits/blazers most of the time, but I don't know if my current hair ruins the look.

My hair and head kind of look like pic related, except I have a widow's peak, I'm not mixed (and thus darker), and my head is slightly more spherical.

I usually wear the same thing. Just picked up a few merino wool sweaters from Uniqlo that were on sale. Personally, I've always thought widows peaks look a bit odd, so I would lose that. I'm black, and I have my hair cut so its short on the sides and longish on top, although I comb the top down so I don't look like a pencil.

Otherwise, I've found that fros goes well with most semi-formal fits and look pretty cool if you take care of it. They don't really work with monochrome-/fa/-trickyricky-trunks fits though, you need short hair for those.
