Slim bombers ruin the aesthetic

Bombers are pleb tier now anyway. They're the new peacoat

So then what's the cool replacement? I've always liked bombers.

bomber jackets have always been popular. you just didn't notice it before.
>>
are varsity-style jackets an effay alternative in your opinions?

Any Rick Owens bomber jackets will do, but his best ones were always the turbo flight ma-1 and his LIMO AW11 ma-1

only if its the one from hotline Miami or the SLP teddy jacket

I tried it on and it's extremely slim, i'm not a fan of slim bombers but if that's what your looking for it's okay for the price. Size up though I"m an XS and the M was the only one that fit to my liking
>>
>>8923418

I'm 6'1", similar build to the pic and he's wearing large so that should do for me

i prefer it to the overly puffy ones for sure. i'd rather have it be a tad too slim for my taste than try to figure out proper sizing for a non-slim one

side note: any ideas as to a good womens bomber under $60? gf wants one, wears womens small or xs if it matters

Is their stuff worth the price? Their Parka also looks good but it should be Norsetier quality wise for that price(Not implying that Norse is special in any way but thats around their price range and their stuff is usually well made and constructed)
>>
>>8926892

Nicest? I think the nicest I've ever handled has still been any iteration in a washed/blistered leather. The smooth leather with down fill is definitely very luxe and immediately FEELS expensive, but it's also incredibly warm and not for everybody.

Technically, leather can handle some precipitation, but if it's your main jacket during inclement weather, you won't have time to let the hide dry fully between wears. There are hooded and stow-away hood versions of the Turbo Flight Bomber, too, but then you start to deviate a bit from the standard MA-1 silhouette.

My personal suggestion is to grab one of the textile options in DRKSHDW and to just put some water repellant spray on it. The Murray fabric is a cotton-nylon (almost like a 60/40) and the hardiest of the fabrics and probably the most practical option for you. The most comfortable is probably the heavy cottons in fall like this season's Madison, which is a brushed moleskine, but that heavy nap will drink up any water that lands on its surface.

>>
>>8929359
>>8929359
Lots of food for thought there. Much appreciated. I've never quite been comfortable in any of the leathers I've owned, so I'll probably go for the DRKSHDW option.

I almost bought this Topman Neoprene Bomber because I'm a poorfag and it's only $60.

But I'd like to explore my options. Anybody know of any classy bombers in that price range?
>>
>>8935240
>classy
It's a bomber, they aren't classy.
BUT, anything similar in looks (material) but better quality for the price range? <100

the sticky would answer the question better than i can

quality is very hit or miss
don't expect anything amazing in terms of fit or durability
stick to cheap basics like plain colour tees, pants etc.
>>
>>8935426
The sticky only lists topman as a store/bran

It's a decent basic. Not really a bomber though.
I'd cop if on sale.

Doesn't change the fact that over-sized dress shirts look ugly as fuck.

I'd rather fall behind "fashion" than look like I'm halfway through chemo.

theres an excellent store in toronto for black bombers and most other things literally every item is 10 dollars =)

If you can't remove it you could always sew something bigger over it.

>extremely basic piece
>carried by stores all over the place
>still have hordes of people asking "w2c black bomber"
>made out to be some fantastic piece that you can wear in many outfits
>actually only really looks good in a few certain looks and only serves as a mediocre substitute for better looking jackets in others

>mfw bomber is now the peacoat of streetwear

mainly black bombers tho, other ones can b cool
