Old Navy is not a shit brand. Their stuff is fairly quality for a very reasonable price. I have this same cardigan in gray. You just got stuck with an awkward color, unfortunately.

Cardigans are not too formal for class. Anyone who gives you shit about it is a projecting insecure faggot. Just throw this on over a plaid with the middle two buttons done. Works well with jeans or chinos. Considering the color, I would avoid wearing it with khaki colored pants.

A cardigan like this could work well with boots or even boat shoes if it's early autumn. I personally think wearing something like this with sneakers would look shitty because the styles clash, but if you have a pair in mind I guess it's up to you.
