Also, say what you like about Hedi Slimane now, his time at Dior Homme revolutionised 21st century Men's fashion - big emphasis on silhouettes, overly tailored suits, a lot of /fa/gs owe their sense of style to him and the fact that the pale, skinny look is fashionable.

I never really gave Geller much thought, he was always just another name but I started checking him out and it was surprising how much he fit into the look I was going for. Plus he seems to change it up often but it never seems forced which is a rare thing to see.

The hats definitely weren't my favorite but besides that this show was incredible. Little things you don't typically see in men's fashion like big necklace and mesh tops were used but never came off as effeminate and complimented the looks well.

Obviously there is a very marital theme to this especially focusing on the bride. I think the combination of a suit and the train of a wedding dress, if although not practical than still very a interesting concept and I think it actually looks really nice. The veils over many of the hats are really nice too.

As for the soloist I think it's often thrown into all the folky Japanese designers Nonnative, Visvim, Trove, etc. And the style is definitely there but from what I've seen Takahiromiyashita(the designer) always uses a more distressed and patchy look than the others.

Rick made it seem like there wasn't a lot of significance to the embroideries, other than the fact that he really enjoyed the drawings that his friend (Benoit) left around the house of him and Michele and wanted to include them in the collection. There were a lot of elements in the show that seemed like a deviation from the status quo, but the silhouettes were still very Rick, and I don't think most buys will include the array of colours used in the show (which was also pretty irregular but some buff will probably come out of the woodwork to correct me by mentioning a tangentially related women's drkshdw collection, pic related) or all the embroideries so it will probably look very similar to the last four or five seasons when it hits the shelves. .
