But I'll give you an actual answer. Leather breathes. Not as well as gore-tex or anything, but it's not like your feet will be in plastic bags where no breathing occurs. Leather shoes are fairly warm but I wouldn't say they'd be much warmer than a jordan.

I like them both but keep in mind how they'll age. The futuristic look only looks good when the shoe is clean imo. Once those get scuffed up and dirty they will probably look like ass. The cracks on the textured leather will fill with dirt and grit, and the plastic holographic panels will get scratched up.

i can't recommend anything other than dm 1460s or timberlands around that pricerange. you really should be looking to spend more when it comes to boots i think, low quality boots aren't something you want to have to deal with. i've personally been looking at these stolen girlfriends club boots for $400 NZD but i've never dealt with sgc footwear before and can't be certain of the quality. the sticky has some decent boot recommendations if that interests you.

just quick - I got a pair of roshes a little while back. I'm usually a size 11, but they only had 10.5. My toe pushes up against the front just a slight bit, and pushes the material. Should I get another pair in size 11, or is this how they're supposed to fit?
