I have a general hair+face shape question.

My boyfriend is balding (35), but he keeps his hair about lower neck length. He has a long face so that length looks good on him... if you crop out the top of his head where there's just peach fuzz.

He doesn't like the "balding long hair" look either but doesn't know what to do. I want to suggest shaving it all off and growing some facial hair but he's a 6'3" twig with a long face and I don't know how bald+beard will look on him.

If you want your hair soft then soak it in pure coconut oil for a couple hours (wear a shower cap too to keep in the moisture) BEFORE washing your hair. Even then, use a moisturising shampoo; I recommend the dove oil one. My hair is naturally nappy and coarse, but that shampoo and deep conditioner works wonders.

there's a fuckload of haircare products on the market that all claim to give you silky smooth hair, and most of it's bullshit. even more so if you're using it on facial hair, because it's so course to start off with.

my question is, among all the facial hair products, is there anything that actually helps makes beards a bit softer? i'm aware that i won't be getting an irresistibly, sensually smooth beard, but i've been rocking a thick as fuck, well-trimmed beard since the start of the year, and it would be nice not having to feel like i'm ripping my face off every morning when i get out of bed and comb it. it fucking hurts.

So what can I do with my hair with shitty receding hairline? I've always had it pretty high even as kid, and a billboard forehead, but it has receeded when I was 17-18 and it stays like this. You can tell a barber to not touch the top of your head. I have done this in the past, but if they are like who I had then expect to pay full price for only 3/4 of a haircut.

also if you go no poo while your hair grows out then maybe by the time is longer like in OP it may lay down more from its weight

That's a 2 on the sides and back. Depending on how long your hair is on top you can tell them to leave it or just trim it to your liking.
