He has never used that many different colours in the one menswear show before. I never commented on geometrical patterns. This show was a marked deviation from what he has presented over his entire career and you know it. He's always said how his aesthetic is very specific and it's difficult for him to continuously create new collections every season within the narrow confines of that aesthetic, but he's said he doesn't care if he has to present the same collection every season he wouldn't deviate from it but this collection really does mark a pronounced move in a different direction for Rick.

It's ok. Not rick's best or worst. A lot of the first looks are really cool.

Honestly no. It usually does look boring if you can't spend quite a lot of money on your fit though because you end up with boring textures/shapes.

There's so many interesting aspects to a garment outside of its colour. Imo colour is often actually pretty restricting because crazy shapes/textures tend to look tacky and kitsche when they're not done in black
