Beyond that, it depends on what occasion are you dressing for, dressing appropriately for it, and what fits your personal tastes because there's a lot more options for women than for men.

I have the unfortunate pleasure of working in retail at a mall and seeing mallcore trends, for some reason this fall a lot of stores are pushing lace-up V-necks and they look pretty terrible. Not sure if kimono jackets are dying yet or not because I still see landwhales wearing them as fat hiding curtains, kimono jackets are only cute on thinner people. They'll probably go out with colder weather along with cold shoulder tops.

Additionally, messy buns are the new hair meme and unless you have good bangs you're gonna look ratchet af. The fall semester has only just begun and people are already dressing like it's finals week.

Women usually look to IG, Pintrest, and Youtube for fashion these days, which can be both a blessing and a curse. Always use discretion.
