Does anyone else get a smug warm feeling inside by wearing platinum watches and jewelry?

I have a couple of silver rings that I wear from time to time. Signets can be nice but as you said, they have to be small and pretty simple. The signet I have has a cartouche on it.

Interesting, I asked the same question in the FUCC BOI thread and got nothing. OP did you see my question and spring board or was this pure coincidence? Just curious.

Anyway, my general observation is basically this, in order not to look like a poser, I suggest either being A) currently rich or B) have direct traces to nobility within your family and have said notabilities last name or preferably C) both. I'm planning on sending Rebus my family's coat of arms and get a signet ring made by them relatively soon out of sterling silver. Though I'm going to wear it daily, only if I'm in a suit and the occasion is right.

To your point on nobility my grandfather has a signet of a scottish thistle and he wears it everyday. It looks super awesome and he's a pretty manly guy so I'm still looking for other ways to jump in

Too mane people buy diamonds so they won't stick out as much, and to be quite honest diamonds are the go to for even low income earners so if showing off your wealth (or taste) you shouldn't buy all diamonds. Other gemstones offer opportunities to match your outfit's color pallet.
