>inb4 "around you neck"
I got you, op :) Don't do that autistic wrap around the ankle shit though

This Op
Will it fuck up the laces?
I just tie mine normally then tuck them in
>>12726286
How do I keep the bottom and top tight?
>>12726253
They look too big for you
>>12726271
What are better alternatives? That's the only way I can keep the laces tied
straight laced with white laces
>>12726253
With a red lace on one shoe, and a blue on the other.
Ladder lacing to keep em tight

concur. you bought overly large boots, the point is to work them in, their supposed to be tight, it's leather.
>>12726289
i just pull them as tight as it goes when I do them up then double knot it.

Only downside is that they're a pain to get off afterwards.
Also worth noting that I don't actually own doc martens specifically but I own similar boots, and I'd say it would work for most.
>>12726285
it just looks trash
>>12726289
kegels

kek
Bar laced woth the two pieces of leather touching together.
>>12726285
if you do it on docs its pretty cringey
>>12726253
Just lace up normally.
I hate those tryhards that make weird lace ups or do the dior 07 boots thing.

This. You shouldn't have all that space at the top of your boots. If you just bought them new, I'd go in and exchange them.
For my Docs I have waxed black laces (thin and round, not the flat kind). I just do standard lacing and I keep them tight.
