what are your thoughts on wearing unbuttoned shirts? do they seem a bit too sloppy and perhaps "childish"?
i like the idea of layering my clothes but i live in california so its kinda hard to layer with shirts and jackets and such. i just usually wear a tshirt and a unbuttoned shirt to keep things lightweight.

so is this style acceptable? or should i just button up my shirt and wear something like plaid if I want more colors?

certain styles will only look good if you have the right body type. That's why you must know yourself before you can know /fa/

Can't you try it out for yourself?
This is simple to a point where you can make your experience by actual trial, rather than being told what to think.

i have been wearing this style for a couple months now but after looking through more clothing styles that include button up shirts, I almost never see them unbuttoned. thats how i came about with my question.
it made me start to think that if I dont see too many people pulling this kind of style then maybe its because it just doesnt look good in general.

Quality does not mean popularity and vice versa.
Trends come and go; from what i've seen in holywood media this used to be a trend so it's natural that it doesn't have many adopters now that the heat is over. Maybe i'm wrong on this, i'm not american.

Does this apply to flannels?

Fat and Muscle Dudes can pull it off too, if the Rest of their appearrance looks clean
>>
it's what I mostly wear recently, since it's about the only way to wear something more fashionable than a t-shirt in this fucking heat
