How can these famous guys get away with it? They wear these suits that are skin tight and everybody thinks they look fine, but when I buy a suit that is somewhat tight everybody says it's too tight and doesn't fit me. IT ISN'T TOO SMALL, IT'S JUST A SKINNY FIT.

1- That's a very bad example and it looks bad
2- Skin tight != tailored
Those famous, rich guys just have enough money to have those suits made-to-measure, so they fit their body perfectly, without the slightest bit of excess fabric. If anything, buying your suits a tiny bit too large and then getting them tailored will be better than a bit too small.
