my experience in montreal is generally that everyone on the road is fucking clueless or unnecessarily aggressive. the arret signs are the biggest joke ever. even the signs in france dont say that. too many hassidic jews running around. their chinatown fucking sucks.

police legitimately enforce jaywalking laws. they will actually run up to you and be mad if you cross against the lights even if there are no cars in sight. the locals actually wait for the walk sign to cross when nothing is coming. i've never seen anything like it in any american city. it's like nobody has somewhere to be.
