Anyone here taking minoxidil? What's life like on it?

I'm not really losing my hair yet, but I am 24 and want to take it as a preventative measure.

I am, slowly receding hairline since I was 17-18, 23 now and it's noticeable to me. been on minox a little over 3 months and it thickened up my hairline but no real regrowth, thinking about getting on fin because a little recession with longer hair is a look i kinda dig but I may just end up shaving it if I stop freaking out so much.

If i had insurance and caught it early like you i would look into fin, minox seems to be the kinda thing that might fuck with you if your hair is okay.
