thinking of getting some sneaks for walking and general purpose, but I'd kind of like them all/mostly one colour. always used to buy black but I want something different. sportswear shops always seem to have the ugliest colourways of shoes unless you go black or white. so I was thinking white, but new white sneakers are too loud for me. should I get white ones and scuff them up? is it going to be a major pain in the ass to try to find, say, plain grey?
These are amazing for walking, as much as people om here like to shit on them
Where'd you get these? I've been interested in the Blink colorway but I noticed the fake ones tend to already be leaning one way or the other and looking awkward in pictures
Are you trying to get fake ones? I really wouldn't. I'm against fakes as it is but fake Yeezy 1s look really poor in particular. Unlike fake Boost 350s they are very shoddy and obvious.
I got them off Grailed.
Just about anything casual.
Neat. I'm personally not a fan of the socky NMD/Boost thing but these are kind of cool. Only thing is there is a very limited number of outfits you can actually pull them off in.
I had been considering it for a while, especially at that insane price point for the real ones despite being almost 10 years old, with the Yeezy 2s and Boost 350 existing too lol
I might just change my mind since I got a pair of Air Command Forces and they're pretty much the same form factor
I got my Air Yeezy 1s for under $800 but they were slightly beat and needed the restore. 2's are still stubbornly high, you just can't get a pair for under 1500. I don't even know if anyone is buying them at that price to be honest. I feel like people are just trying to let them go for that price, but since they're Air Yeezys no one is really desperate to dump them and so just refuse to come down. I wouldn't pay $1000+ for 1's that weren't completely deadstock.
Reebok classic leather solids
Puma x STAMPD trinomics
Raf simons x adidas ozweego generation 1/2/3 (can be found no sale for ca 250usd)
FILA memory workshift (cheap and good quality)
Nike Air Max 95 All white (ca 160 usd, fucking amazing to walk in)
what you really need to do first is to drop the shirt and jacket, the first one is horrendous and the jacket doesnt match the rest of the outfit
Opinions on these? Looking for a really comfy sneaker, so if there's something that looks better lmk.
I usually wear light blue or black Levi 501s
Yeah that's my only struggle with it. I already copped and so far I can only fit them into my soundcloud rapper type fits as an ozweeego, air max, clunky shoe substitute. Though I've been gravitating towards a comfy tech-y style lately which probably way better suits them. Only gripe with them is they're not comfortable whatsoever but apparently they need to break in. Also check out basic sneaker retailers like CHamps and Footlocker for stock.
I don't get it. These look like elementary school girl Payless shoes. Someone explain. Why are these beloved and Yeezys shit on.
How do you guys feel about rubber midsole oxidation yellowing? I have an old pair of Adidas Decades that have a yellowed midsole. Part of me wants to restore them but part of me kind of likes the vintage kind of look.
Ofc a lot about how you "perform fashion" is how you feel in your clothes. Someone could wear an outfit for 2k usd and still look like a fucking moron because itäs not clothes that they want to wear. Therefore, ignore me and wear what you like.
On the other hand, It's easy to just scootch around when you feel too comfortable.
For a regular outfit i'd go semi-slim black jeans, basic shirt (it's more important about the silhouette of the fit than the actual garnment but key of thumb is to avoid graphic tees)
try a slim black jacket/coat mayb
Also, Nike Terminators!
Pic related is my Decades. I was going to use the Salon 40 method to restore the midsole but the more I look at it I'm kind of feeling the yellow.
I personally don't like them. Too much plastic makes them look kind of cheap. Goes without saying they're not very versatile.
That's also gonna be a no from me, dawg.
If you really like them why not. It's a pretty versatile basic shoe. Can be worn in place of meme black vans.
any recommendations for a good sneaker for standing in place all day as a cashier? should be mostly black and below 150 bucks and that's all i care about, i just have no supportive shoes at all rn.
my two recent cops, the boosts are comfy af and great for walking around in. i've had my eye on the checkerboard authentics for a while and pulled the trigger when they restocked
Opinions on these? Thinking of copping for the coming fall and winter, but I'm not sure of the colourway.
I like the regular high version, but I didn't manage to cop any.
Go to an Adidas outlet and cop any pair of boost sneakers, there should be plenty of non hyped models for cheap.
I recommend checking the response models, pure boost 2017's and ultra boost st's. I think they're on the outlet section of adidas.com as well.
I think they look good. Some similar sneakers would be Saucony shadow 5000 or 6000 and Karhu Aria or Fusion 2.0.
yeah but they'll get dirty really quickly. if you're actually going to be using UB's as running shoes you should probably go with a different colorway, unless you don't care about keeping them clean
Try finding Karhu's for a decent price now that all the Kanye dickriders that are retarded enough to pay resale for Yeezys are jumping on the bandwagon
Sorry to break it to you but unless you have thicc legs and very small feet, you probably look like a fag wearing moon boots
What? There's no resell on Karhus and they haven't raised their prices.
I don't think Kanye fans jumped on the bandwagon that hard, all though I did see a lot more fresh pairs in Helsinki the week after Kanye was spotted wearing them.
The recent SNS collab was dope.
Looking to cop something to run in, are these any good?
They are $45 which is reasonable I think, is it worth looking for something a bit more expensive so I dont abuse my feet?
Alternative to flyknit racers? I like how they look, but I hear they're not comfy enough for everyday use.
it was four. Breds, Black Toes, All-Star, and Top 3. I tried to go for black toes and took an L within a minute. Don't beat yourself up, I haven't seen anyone online saying they managed to get them, the stock numbers must have been super limited.
Found the same ones on letgo for a pretty good deal, pretty sure they're real, should I cop?
Found these Kasina X New Balance ML581s for $15
What do you guys think? If anything they are extremely comfy
I think it's somewhat of a chain, but I went to a little thrift shop called Buffalo Exchange. It's basically a value village/goodwill that filters the items so that most of them a decent quality/brands, but are still cheap
I don't like any shoe that can go flat.
And that almost certainly will happen unless you only wear them indoors, and even then it's not ruled out. Those things will get a leak before the rest of the shoe is even close to geting worn out and you'll have to trash them.
Ugly too, looks like you stepped in tupperware. Old school air max looked alright and I've had a few pairs, but the little air pocket window was always silly and now they turned that into the entire sole. It's dumb.
copped the shoes today, really want this gosha x fila collab to go with them but its another $190 plus tax and shipping
then you would be a complete walking cardboard for a brand like Fila, do you really want that? both of those items are overpriced btw, the Gosha one even looks stupid with that cyrillic lettering
I don't think the fila collab with Barney's was overpriced really, good looking and comfortable shoe thats unique. The jacket is overpriced though, agree with you on that. I don't think matching brands is a bad thing at all if done correctly.
there is a restock happening. they are $180 when they re-release tomorrow i think so he won't be paying stupid resale. and the price for resell will drop for those poor hypebeasts who want these
my janoskis are falling apart, should I:
>buy a pair of the same model
>try to stitch them together
>buy some new pair of different sneakers
I kind of dig how worn sneakers look so ideally I'd try to fix em
Yo, so I'm looking for some Hightop sneakers (around $100 budget) the only ones i've seen that i actually kinda liked was a pair of Vans Lite hi-tops' any suggestions on other brands/shoes?
These aren't even the actual retail pair. And not even a good pair of fakes.
cop if you can find either the real ones or a great pair of fakes. Don't waste money on shit that doesn't even get the fucking inside writing right.
C/N Chuck IIs for $40?
Figured I need a black beater and Old Skools are kinda meme
Highs or Lows? Was gonna rip the patch off the highs
Just go with Breds or something of the sort. The link has just about all of the colorways available.https://solecollector.com/news/air-jordan-1-high-the-definitive-guide-to-colorways/
What are some decently comfortable sneakers that don't have a really big sole?
I don't like roshe runs and all that, I prefer classic tennis sneakers.
I want leather since I want to be able to wear them in the rain too.
footlocker employees in my local mall sold out on the triple blacks at 9 am (they open at 9am).
those backdooring faggots can go to hell. The sneaker game has turned into bots/reselling/friends&family hook ups.
They're dope but I'm afraid they'll become extremely popular due to the trend of bulky 90's sneakers, and Nike pushing so many 97 colourways this year
On a little side note, I'm really excited for Sean Wotherspoons air max 97 and air max one hybrid to drop.
I have Jack Purcells. What are your thoughts on them? I love the look of them, but they don't always seem to work. It probably doesn't help that I wear size 12 UK so they look very clownlike.
How do you decide what to add to your collection while avoiding duplication? For example, I already own a pair of B/W Chuck 70s high-tops but I want to get a pair of B/W Sk8-his for the silhouette.
the shoes look cool but man you bed. I wish you were wealthier I really do. Tbh don't worry too much about fashion rn, it's a hobby not more essential than lots of other things, I know it's hard but please try to save money to live a more decent life. There are more important things in life than fashion, fashion is just a luxury.
Cop or not?
What are your thoughts on the Nike Cortez? Not specifically this colorway, but just the shoe in general.
http://www.palladiumboots.com/desvilles-75329-610-m I'm quite pleased with the price desu
Are these good for sports (running and lifting)?
I like how they look but hear from some people than they're not really durable and meant for casual fashion rather than sports.
Missed out on these (surprise drop done right), but all the hypebeasts are vomiting at the sight of these. They have their place in the 90s revival aesthetic that has been floating around, and I can see some people liking them.
what's the closest thing out there today that I can buy in preparation to replace my deteriorating 5 year old plimcana mids?
preference for adidas
Personally, I've just never been a fan of the whole socky NMD/Ultraboost craze. The original NMDs are especially played out at this point but if you like them, get them. It's not a terrible shoe and it's fairly versatile--I'm fully admitting my view is just my opinion and taste--obviously.
I own a pair. For running, don't even think about it, the shoe is meant to be more of a sporty lifestyle casual shoe than a real sport shoe. For lifting I think the sole is stiff enough, so you should be fine.
Better than the other colourways, but I still really dislike the fuse overlays. Gladly I think you can get rid of them pretty easily
I hear they are pretty comfy, due to being primeknit and not mesh, as the model would suggest.
Ozweegos and the new yeezy wave runner did it better. It's almost good looking, but it looks too much like a kids shoe. Or not enough like a kids shoe. Can't decide.
my roommate has some and they look comfortable but also get dirty super easy and kind of look like crap unless you maintain the pristine white look.
also the rice shit on the sole looks retarded
Sneakers posted here seem to be black 90% of the time. Do you guys just only wear black jeans or what?
I feel like I have to buy grey shoes every time because it doesn't limit my pants choices.
i'm looking for a good go-to pair of black sneakers, would these be a good choice?
>came across adidas zx flux prism when searching for ultra boosts on ebay
>get obsessed with them and how crazy the color is and want them
>won an auction for a pair that was gonna be only $40
>seller (zero feedback) cancels my order cause he sold them to a friend of his and didnt know how to take the auction down
feels bad guys
I got Asics for $150 and it was the best decision ever. So easy to run in. You can also look at NB, Nike, Brooks as has been pointed out. Avoid Adidas, Puma and any no name shit.
Basically, for decent running shoes you're looking at $80+. For really good ones $120+.
no real runner would run in Adidas unless he gets paid for it
Nike in general is a lot better choice, but there are brands like Mizuno, which only make running shoes, although those look like shyte most of the time, so if the guy wants something, which is effay and can run in it, Nike is his best bet
no overhyped boost BS, that ain't good in the long run, it gives no support and too bouncy, Nike's lunarlon is a lot better
are these effay or trash
Don't fucking worry about duplication my guy
I have about 12 pairs of shoes that look almost the same.
Also when janoskis came out I thought them shits were the best shoes ever, desu I still think this is partially true.
I'm now sitting on about 7 or 8 pairs of janoskis that I've worn maybe 3 times in 3 years. I don't want to sell em cause they pretty nice tho.
I use a pair of regular ass roshes and a pair of janoski maxes for running, lifting...just any kind of sport.
Honestly, if you're not a pro athlete, just get whatever the fuck you want.
i like the construction of the back but the overall look is a lil bit too tacticool for me, make sure the rest of your outfit isn't bad military cosplay lol
get the club c 85 w the gum sole instead imo, similar but subtly much better
gosha x fila is such a lame hypebeast cash grab. find a nice vintage fila or nike jacket if that's the look you're going for, less expensive and you won't look like a victim.
What's the difference between the C85 and C85 Vintage and why's the latter more sought after?
I think if some different color ways come out, hey could be better. Rumor has it there'll be an all-black one and another that's white with a gum sole. I think those might be better.
The cage yea, and most colourways are just disgusting. I hate how they look on feet.
Also the nmd og colourway was butchered due to the later drop with way too many pairs and now this xr1 monstrosity.
Glad to hear, definitely copping!
The only piece of military clothing I use is a black bundeswehr parka, which I think will go great with the sf af1's. Other than that I don't think I even own any milsurp stuff.
Are you talking about the nikelab sfb dunks?
Those things are turbo autism level sneakers
