common projects look good if you have the money to blow, but for most of us there are better alternatives. i personally dislike the pink ones a lot but white or black aren't bad. you have to remember if you're paying full price for a pair that money isn't all going towards quality but a decent bit is also going towards the name. not gonna necessarily say they're a meme, I'll let you decide that for yourself

if you can get your hands on them for below 300 they're a good investment
but really they're just slim white shoes, vans old skool in triple white have an almost identical look as the white achilles low
they're definitely a meme in online communities, but unlike the old skools, irl it would be rare to spot a pair on someone in the city, even rarer if you live in the suburbs
