1. YOUR AGE, AND SEX, ARE IRRELEVANT FACTORS WHEN DECIDING WHAT HAIRCUT TO GET; THE RELEVANT FACTORS ARE YOUR FACESHAPE, YOUR HEADSHAPE, AND YOUR HAIR'S TEXTURE —WAVY, STRAIGHT, CURLY.

Gosling in terms of hairsryle is very traditional

I've never gotten a hair cut before that wasn't some sort of variation of a buzzcut.
I've let my hair grow out a bit since December and trying to figure out what to do with it.
I have very thick black hair. It's very wavy and has some prominent curls in some areas, like cowlicks.
Also, I have a round face shape and head shape.
What would would be something good to do with this.
Any suggestions? Im looking to get it cut soon as im sick of having long hair, plus it's ridiculously thick.
I have thick, straight/wavy, light brown hair. Its really long (goes down past thr shoulders and some of it reaches my nipples) and it might be damaged because i havent taken care of it while it was growing. My head is wider than my face at the temples and my head is pretty tall too. What should i do with my hair.
Getting a cut today. Looking for suggestions
I've always struggled to find a cut that suits me due to my big head, big forehead, mature hairline, and thin hair. Luckily I am 6'3".
My hair is pretty long currently so anything is a possibilty but I would like to find a shorter style that fits. Please help lol
If you think you look good with long hair then keep it long but you need to cut the ends way more often than you think so it doesn't get damaged, I could help you out if you want more intel on how to care about long hair.
Remember tho - men rarely look good with long hair.
Is there a type of product that can make my like its permanently "wet"? Like after a shower my hair clumps int to spikes and looks nice, but I dont know how to imitate that bar water. If it is relevant I have really thick straight black asian hair
how the fuck do i deal with dry, frizzy hair? i can style my hair to look pretty good using a small amount of water and pomade, but it only lasts about an hour or two before it drys out and looks shit.
i don't use shampoo, wash using cold water every few days and only use conditioner about once a week. i dry it using a hairdryer until slightly damp then apply pomade and comb it to shape.
not fucked at all m8
You'd look good with shorter hair. Not buzzed though.
What should I do here? Should I go full /sleeze/?
I have a square head/face shape and straight, very thick brown hair (White male). Any suggestions? I'm currently using the classic "Long on top, short on the sides" but im getting bored and its old now
Groom&Clean its usually by shaving stuff in stores. Cost like 4 bucks for a tube and the hold isn't very stiff so you can restyle it if you want plus its water based so its easy to get out.
Invest in a gold chain that won't flake, sleeze it up
Tell your barber to even out the sides, besides that it's fine
Part it down the middle, go full Kurt Cobain
What the fuck do I do with this? I've been trying to grow it out again from an under cut, but I'm impatient as fuck. What cut do I get, or should I just put up with it until it's long again?
Can anyone tell how this haircut is called? It's too long to be called crew cut.
Thinking about letting it grow more and applying some medium shine wax like American Crew or something to get that Pidgeot meme style going. What you guys think? Any advice other than kill self will be apreciated because I don't know how to unfuck myself up.
Any idea of what to get? My hair is usually wavy, like Italian gel wavy, and I've never had a good haircut MY ENTIRE LIFE. Please help me with something. Thanks /fa/
i like your hair as is
too short to cut it unless going for buzz (not sure if you could pull it off), try styling it differently if unhappy with current look. try a stronger hold product to keep bangs back it might look nice
grow out more from undercut and decide from there
i can't tell from this angle post better pic
i know this is the /fa/ go to meme answer but seriously a buzz cut would look dope here
I've been growing out my hair for a few months but i'm going for something mid-length after getting sick of the undercut meme. How's this style look if i go and get it cleaned up? i think it fits my face shape and also kinda hides my big forehead.
also debating shaving it all off cause fuck it. let me know opinions
I'll post a bunch from my inspo folder but they're all pretty similar, usually short and slicked back or combed over
Can I get more pictures of this type of hairstyle? I want more angles to show my barber
Help, what should I do with my hair?
>he doesn't cut his own hair
Enjoy wasting money at the scissored jew while i look fresh every 10 days for free.
>these are the people giving advice and critiques on /fa/
Looks like maybe a 1A or 2 on the sides and a 3 on the top
Ok dumb q cuz fuck leaving the house and going to a barber: if I buzz my hair 3 all over, and then the back/sides a 2, how far up the head should I go? Do I have to fade it or something? Don't let me fuck my hair up, anons
Depends on the shape of your head and whether you have a cowlick in the back.
Start by keeping the 2 relatively low. You can always bring it up higher but you can never make it lower.
There wont be much difference between a 2 and a 3 so there won't be much fading possible / necessary, other than maybe pulling the shorter clippers away from your head where they meet up with the 3. In cases where you are going from a 2 to a 4, you would keep the 2 low, go a little higher with the 3, and then higher with the 4.
Use good clippers though or it's gonna look like mange.
Yo lads, how do I get hair like El Che?
I'm cutting my hair tomorrow. I'll cut them short and was wondering if you think I can pull off this haircut (gonna post it right after this post).
Thing is I remember my hair being extremely curly but it's like my texture changed since I have them long. Maybe because I take care of them now.
Anyway, good idea or no? Any other propositions?
The haircut I was talking about
I'm open to any relevant propositions. I've been searching for a hairstyle that doesn't need much styling for weeks but couldn't find any that I think would look good on me.
rate my shit, any suggestions?
Around how long will it take for my hair to reach my shoulders?
been like 4-5 months since last cut, desperately need one but not sure what I should get
Your face makes me both frightened and want to puke.
Jesus fuck what is that thing attached to your scalp? At least comb it before posting a pic ffs
this is probably the nicest I could get it to look in its current state
I have thick, dark, curly hair on the sides of my head with much lighter, straight, finer hair everywhere else. When my hair grows out the finer hair kind of sits on top of these curl balls. It's really fucked up. Should I just do short hair, or an undercut or something?
how should I get this cut? I've always had curly hair and a high hairline. probably be bald at some point, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there
i vote cobain, you'll pull new age goth bitches and art hoes
Stylist fucked up real bad with bleaching my hair
If I get my med-long (about 6inches) curly hair thinned out a bit, will make it more easier to straighten down with product (pomade) or will it have the opposite effect because there's less hair to weight down?
am i pulling off long hair or do i look like a greasy neckbeard
>tfw asshole friends don't know what a widows peak is
Im gonna fucking kill myself if these faggots don't stop saying I have a receeding hairline. Its has been like this since I was 10 for fuck sake.
what does fa think of this haircut
Been doin no poo since january. Hair feels good, but what kinda cut would look good?
the M shape, the very thin and short hairs at the front of his hairline. I am asking because my hairline looks similar (less of an M shape) and I am worried that I am going bald.
Is he having a joyous Christmas? Can you really be sure he isn't trapped inside a frozen shell, forced into this joyous expression, while he wilts and suffers inside his mind?
I can't get over those fingers ok
alright i got some leave-in conditioner. so far it seems to work great. it gives the hair a bit of weight and texture so it sticks together a bit more. i only got it a few hours ago but so far it seems to last longer than water+pomade etc. thanks for the suggestion.
So is sea salt spray what I need to use to get that really sexy hair aesthetic? My hair is thick as fuck and is pretty long, but it's also fine and so it kinda looks off sometimes.
I personally have an M-shape hairline, I'm 20 and I'm fairly certain I'll start losing hair some time in the future since my family has a history of baldness, but doubt it has anything to do with the shape of the hairline
Nothing worse than little funky looking shits posing with a cigarette selfie
Pic related, its what you always end up looking like.
>22 y.o. Hispanic male
>straight hair been receding frontally
>been on propecia for 6 months
>hair isn't noticeably thinner, more shedding, less volume
>seeing dermatologist for a follow up soon
I feel sick to my stomach every time I look in the mirror.
Part of me wants to shave it all off so I won't suffer from from increased anxiety and depression but I'm short and can't grow facial hair
Sex drive on empty which was normal before I even started taking propecia
I feel cursed. Any advice?
I work as a lifeguard over 40 hours a week which turns my hair almost white blonde, its dirty blonde during winter but thats besides the point. I put sun in innit at the start of summer so it highlights evenly but after that its just pure blonde. A girl at a party recommended i use purple shampoo, should i do it, or will it fuck my shit up?
jeremy clarkson looks stupid with that haircut
Anyone asking for recommendations without a picture or two of your hair is not going to get any meaningful replies. Just make a quick montage in paint with a top view, front view and profile view. You will get much better help if you do.
wait a month then bleach again if you are determined to get it ash blonde. DO NOT bleach immediately unless you want 0 hair left. In the meanwhile, condition regularly because your hair will be dry as fuck.
Or buzz it but desu it looks fine as is, you can get a toner and apply to even out the orange, costs about 10$
What's a good, relatively simple haircut for my face shape? I've never had much of an idea of what to do with it aside from keeping it longer to compensate for a huge nose.
My hair is very thick and grows straight out. I am half native american so I kind of want to go for the long straight down middle part hairstyle but don't know what to do in the meantime. I took this pic after leaving my hair in a knot overnight, but I don't think I can do it every day without risking breakage. What do I do?
What kind of hairstyle would fit me? My hair is naturally wavy but gets puffy during during the summer. Need a new hairstyle, what do you guys recommend?
>want to get a nice cut and go much shorter
>don't want to get rid of the long locks because what if they fuck up
what do you do in this situation?
I actually wanted to try some drastic change on it. It's been this way for a few years now and i really don't like it, the last thing i tried was a buzzcut but it was kinda worse. Also, i've been on finasteride for a few years now, it's not thining anymore but it's not gonna get any better than this. It doesn't take that long to grow tho.
Don't to shave it! It will look much thinner and further reveal your MBP. Get it cut short-ish around the backs and sides, leave it long on top, get rid of the side parting, keep the fringe above your eyebrows, and style it forward in a kind of scruffy heap to conceal the thinning at your temples.
General for mild, early stage MBP: the shorter your hair is on the sides, the thicker it will appear at the front and on top.
How do I get a Trot Top /fa/?
Opinions on this hair style? Not me, saw it on k
Dunkirk was the most effay movie in ages. I think the person looking away from camera is Fionn.
>he wears a Henley shirt when he isn't a /fit/ bro
Stop making the bieber facial expressik. For starters. You're giving yourself wrinkles and it looks terrible. Drink more water as well. You upgraded your hair but it could be much better
Take biotin. Also you have a serious widows peak now. Either hide it and look ancient or own it. Think of jack nicholson
What shampoo and conditioner would you guys recommend? I know I'm suppose to try some to see what works but which ones do you guys recommend
what the actual fuck do i do.
i have a fat head, fat face, and straight, SUPER fine hair. it's always limp, and i try to make it seem like it's thicker with products, but nothing ever works. i always feel like shit about it and don't know what kind of fucking hair cut would actually look good. please help, i've been self conscious about my shitty hair for as long as i can remember.
This is going to be the most autistic you've ever heard
But is it possible for a human achieve this texture of hair, like the soft curly look
I don't use shampoo but for conditioner I rotate each day with maui moisture coconut milk or maui moisture bamboo fibers. And I use a stay in conditioner post shower, garnier sleek and shine. It depends on your hair type and what environment you live in. My work is hella dusty, I run minimum 5k a day and the climate is dry as Fuck, plus my hair is thin and longer. So I want stuff that gives volume and hydration
It looks fine, you're being dramatic. What products do you use and how frequently do you use shampoo and conditioner?
My hair is about 1 inch on top, maybe a bit longer.
I want to see what its like flattened forward and down, like a caesar cut, does anyone have tips on how to get my hair to sit down or do I need more length on top before I can weight it down?
no, im not. this is the best i can get on a "day after" shower. normally it looks wayyy worse and i constantly have to style it throughout the day.
i occasionally use Hanz De Fuko shampoo and conditioner but usually just a Suave almond+shea butter shampoo and conditioner. i shampoo and condition every 2 days, and after the shower i put in a bit of mousse and some volumizing sprays. comb and blow dry.
Alright, try showering at night before bed instead. Use only conditioner every day from now on and don't touch shampoo. Shampoo only strips hair of its oils to "clean it". Use a sea salt spray for volume instead and use a stay in conditioner every second day (sea salt spray really dehydrated hair). Try John Frieda Beachblonde salt spray, of all the ones I've tried this one has both preformed the nicest and smells really fucking good. Your biggest problem is you keep touching your hair. Stop it. It just rubs out the product onto your hands and gets your hair oily, pressing it down
i've tried doing things like the way you've described but it ends up making it look super greasy because my hairs are so fine. im desperate so i'll definitely stick by this for the next few weeks and give you some results. i actually have a salt spray (pic related) but since you've tried a fair share you can tell me if i need to upgrade to the frieda. also, i haven't cut my hair in a long time. the longer it gets on the sides, the more fine the hairs look so should i cut mostly the sides shorter and leave the top?
I wasn't a fan of that one and the whole hair looking greasy is something that happens because your scalp is over producing oils due to shampoo removing all of it. My hair is stupidly thin as well so I understand your suffering
what can I do so it doesn't look so dry? also I wanted to let it grow more but it might not be a good idea
i'm not shaving my head, i just want a nonchalant low maintenance hairstyle that doesnt hide my baldness.
DED SOMWON SAY MAYN-STREEM METEOR?!
i like my hair in general but at times i feel kind of bored of it always getting on my face and also i miss going to a barber for more then just cutting split ends, any suggestions or should i just shut up and keep it as is?
I just don't know what should I do to my hair. I'm having an haircut Friday... Any suggestions?
I'm too okay-looking to keep this okay-looking haircut. What should I do? It used to be long. Its very straight and thick but can get a lil wavy on the sides when long.
I really don't know what to do with this hair.
Also I have no idea where to go for it I hate dealing with hair stylists. I kinda wanna keep it shoulder length or so because people always say I looks so much better with long hair, but I also wanna chop alot of it off for comfort and possible hat wearing.
Maybe something like Anna Karina's 60s style? Idk if it would match your facial structure though.
Are you latino?
I'm half white half native american. Also in case there was some confusion I'm a dude, so not sure if I could rock a cut like that
Here's another shot of how long it is.
> I'm a dude
Damn, genuinely thought you had a pussy. You'd make a good trap.
In that case, try something like a Pageboy cut. I think it works on both M and F. Look for unisex Pageboy inspo on google.
If you want to keep hair, how about pic related maybe? I think that's look ok. A lot better than what it is now.
My half nig genetics make me want braids kind of
Can I get this hairstyle but with more of a fringe? my hair's still growing but I have curly enough locks to pull it off, and can use spray to make it "bigger", just wondering if I can get a fringe also since I hate my forehead/hairline
Take the redpill and become a trap.
Please stop, I just want hair advice.
A hairy 6'2 200 pound dude wouldn't make a very good trap even if I wanted to be one.
I'm considering just sitting down with a stylist and talking about options like the last time I had it cut but I always feel like I am wasting their time because I'm not sure what I want.
I mostly just want something shorter so I don't have to deal with so much hair all the time.
Take the redpill and become a trap.
what should I do with my hair ?
It's always falling on my face or the sides and it's annoying, it started as a normal haircut where the middle part is significantly longer than the back and sides and I got to this.
I don't know how to style it or take care of it, the further I've went with it is just using a headband to avoid shit on my face but I look like fucking Krusty the Clown without the top sticking out.
I've always trying to form a bun with putting the headband as further as possible, apparently it looks nice, but I don't trust my family about how I look, I'll try posting it later.
What the fuck should I do /fa/ ?
Yeah I think that's how it's gonna end up. Last time I got a haircut was when I was still parting it to the side like a teenager. Now that I always have it parted from the center I might keep it close to shoulder length and leave it parted. I wish I had a bit curlier hair for that mine only curls out near the ends.
Do dudes use product on longer hair commonly? I'm a neet so I just wash it every few days with shampoo and conditioner. And I leave the house with it loosely tied.
Fuck maybe I'll just go blonde get some bangs and become a horrible trap that's what the people want apparently. Everytime someone from 4chan sees me they say the same shit "are you trap" "you should be a trap" "you are really cute anon"
You should do what you want mate, not what other people want you to be, just be with what you wanna be.
I do personally, hair texturising spray and sometimes hair spray, they work work well together
how do i style this?
it goed down to my belly button
Shit. Forgot about these generals.
Does this hair suit me? It's in a bun.
What length do you cut your sideburns? Normally I'm at the redline but I noticed that in Boardwalk Empire they cut the side burns quite high, fancy doing it desu.
I like having my hair short but whenever I get it cut short I lose all texture. I've got fairly dense and wavy (not curly) auburn hair with a cowlick/part on my left side, generally I part it there since if I don't it becomes incredibly unruly. In general if I cut my hair short and use a product to style it I lose any sense of depth, it becomes incredibly flat.
What's a product that I could use to increase the texture of my hair that would be effective at a short length. (I have very little oil so my hair is naturally incredibly dry and lacks depth/texture)
I CUT THEM AT, OR SLIGHTLY ABOVE, THE HEIGHT OF THE BEGINNING OF THE EARLOBE, WITH THE FORWARD VERTEX OF THE SIDEBURN ALIGNED WITH THE CANTHUS OF MY EYE.
I HAVE AN OVAL FACESHAPE, SO, ANY SIDEBURN LENGTH LOOKS GOOD ON ME; SHORT SIDEBURNS LOOK GOOD ON ROUNDER FACES, BUT BAD ON MORE OBLONG FACES; LONG SIDEBURNS LOOK GOOD ON MORE OBLONG FACES, BUT BAD ON ROUNDER FACES.
Need some advice on what to do. Been almost 2 months since my last cut.
Really thinking about getting a buzzcut. Would it fit my head type?
CONSIDERING YOUR FACIAL FEATURES, AND YOUR HEADSHAPE, A BUZZCUT WOULD BE UNBECOMING FOR YOU, BUT IF YOUR PURPOSE IS TO BECOME AN INCARNATION OF THE ARCHETYPAL SUBHUMAN, DO IT.
can y'all help, my hair seems a little flat, and I'm kind of embarrassed at how trash my cut is to just about everybody else I know at work
aid a man in his cuts please
