Got a job interview as a part times sales assistant in a tile store. I think a suit & tie would be overkill. What should I wear instead?

Shirt and sensible tie would do. Don't wear a blazer.

Business casual. I'd wear the suit but ditch the tie.
Why not just a shirt, nice pants and leather shoes. That is what I would wear. Casual business is what you are looking for.

OP here. This is what I have in mind.
>black suit (only other suit I own is blue plaid)
>brown leather brogues
>brown leather belt
>a light cream coloured collarless shirt

USA or Europe?

No black suit.
Buy a pair of navy/grey suit pants that fits you well and just go with the rest of what you posted. Black suits are way too fucking formal.

I agree but I have no money and the interview is tomorrow so I don't have a choice

Brit-fag
Don't be a tard casual shirt and jeans will suffice

use the black trousers from your suit and a white shirt. Tie would be overkill and and the jacket would be too formal. Just present yourself like you already work there.

why bother asking then?
