It's more like advertising for the brand and showing off their creative vision. And typically the same ideas expressed in the runway shows trickle down into the off the rack stuff, just in a more toned down form

i got an old EG one in herringbone from yjp <$100
hobo does a few but im not a huge fan of the shape (pic) and also Porter
drawing a blank on other brands but u might have luck checking hiking / outdoor inspired brands out
