And wear that is dirt will wipe off and be fine. Just use an ultra fine cloth that is damp and wipe it once or twice over then dry it. Don't let the water sit on the leather because if it gets absorbed in it can damage it. If the leather surface is worn in, then the best you can do is a conditioner and cream to it. This is neither permanent, nor will it go back to how it was originally. Unfortunately that's how it goes with leather and you should have expected that walking into it. If you want to condition it, ate at clear of oils like olive oil bullshit people push on their blogs. It makes water stains. That said, most quality leathers look quite good worn out. Keep them as nice beaters and buy a new pair as clean kicks.
