Brooks Revannas offer a lot of support and are insanely comfortable. Unfortunately they're also hideous, which is why no one will ever mention them on here.

Your best bet is to go to a running store, where the clerks watch you walk and can tell you what kind of shoe will offer the best support. But again, this shoe will be hideous, i promise.

Generally though, in the realm of reasonable sneakers, for long walks, air > boost.
