There are quite a few options for clothes that are breathable and moisture wicking for hot and humid weather.
Nike, Y-3, ACG, among many other brands, offer things like Climacool. Even Uniqlo has some really nice Airism/heat tech stuff.
Look around and see what you can pull off. Summer techwear is an underappreciated and underdeveloped part of techwear in general.

I was hoping someone would talk about this if I posted it. I'm a big fan of the BLK label they did from '09-'10, but that was its own separate line.

The cool thing about the BLK label to me was it played with so many different cuts, fabrics, and different items in general.
You had everything from Schoeller vs Goretex jackets, bags, fingered and fingerless gloves, and even some cool sandals. It made up for what it lacked in color by pushing the technical aspect of the clothes to the nth degree.

This new season has some pieces that are a bit of throwback and unfortunately a few Y-3 knockoff looking pieces. Unfortunately though I don't think any of it is going to push the technical aspect to anywhere new. I agree with you that the mainline is great because of it's rich colors and great designs. Hopefully this BLK throwback won't detract from the rest of the colorful line.

I like techwear conceptually more than I like its merging with streetwear and other elements. Not really looking to pay thousands for a black garbage bag made in a third world shithole branded as a waterproof jacket with some logo that takes up half of the front.
