I really need a haircut

i need ideas I have no clue about what to do with this shit

I stopped using shampoo almost 3 weeks ago. I shower everyday and use conditioner 4 times a week. I noticed my hair now easily maintains the style I give it which is nice.

Today I was visiting my parents though and my mom says my hair looks all shiny and dirty looking. I told her I stopped shampooing and she said I instead should at least every two days becuase I have oily hair.

What do? I got self-conscious about it since she said that and probably people/friends haven't mentioned anything to me just to be nice.

The trick for me was to not wash with shampoo everyday, it seriously dries your scalp and hair. Thats not to say you shouldn't shower, but only wet your hair, and not "wash" it. But I may be telling you things you already know.

I should also note that I'm taking a biotin supplement, a daily vitamin, a protein supplement via pills, and working out every other day w/ cardio. Have a free haircut that expires at the end of the month, don't feel like my hair is gonna grow that much before then so I figured I'd get it cut soon

yeah, had it about jaw length for a bit but it was a lot to maintain. I've got a really active life and it would get super hot/sweaty/in the way all the time.

I've had the mustache for a while now and i don't really want to get rid of it. i get compliments on it now and then so it must be working in some way and the last time i shaved it it was not a good look

My last haircut was a bathroom w/clippers job so it's kind of shapeless at the moment and it needs some actual licensed work done on it
