I like to wear black braces, jeans (light-washed or black) cuffed, and black 10i Doc Martens. It feels light and the fit is good. My main concern is that is this just too close to appropriating skinhead-culture?

Like, I don't mind getting associated with them, but skinheads aren't really a big group in Finland. The people that do comment me on my outift usually tell me that I look like a gay farmer, and that's about it. And no, I don't have a buzzcut.

finnish skinheads usually have their own style, as there wasn't that rude-boy and working class influence as the english skinheads in the 60's had. and if you have hair i don't many people will notice even in places that had skinheads in past

Went through that phase about 10 years ago for a few years.
Was pretty interesting until 9/10 Japanese teenagers starting dressing this way and then it got boring.

Nowadays people seem to rag on skinheads as just neo-nazis, and there's just lots of conflict over the ideologies. Some groups say SHARPs and like are just poseurs, so idk. I don't mind neo-nazis OR skinheads, as long as they aren't breathing close to my face, ready to start a brawl.

I've seen skinheads here in Turku aswell. Usually they look the same like in your pic (except they know how to ladder-lace ffs).
The fit I normally do with braces and jeans is just really comfortable, feels even better than wearing a belt, but I stay away from white laces myself. My gf says that I look like a lumberjack and she likes it.

yeah, but in places like finland where the skinhead style came as an import in the 80s it only manifests as neonazi. maybe that is why finnish boneheads look even unusually retarded for skins
