Let's have a belt thread. Personally, I'm looking for the highest quality heavy-duty black belt I can find. So far I haven't been able to find anything particularly great.
Just general inspo pictures would be cool though, and brands or stores, also.

Cant go wrong with a cordovan belt.
It will probably outlive your great grandkids.

lol, no it won't.

That actually looks pretty chintzy, and the buckle's nothing to write home about.
Thanks though anyway, anon.

Seconding Filson. I have yet to find anything quite as hefty.

ugh, not a fan of super thick belts like this. i'm all for solid, good quality belts but these super thick ones are so annoying when you sit down

i wore a belt like this in middle school

They have a single layer belt too. I've tried on both and they feel about the same, though I wear my pants at waist height. Tanner Goods makes a solid belt too but Filson undercuts them with the same materials and build quality. Not the same color selection though, so if you like natural veg tan, go with Tanner.

So far, out of all the belts mentioned, I think the Red Wing 1 1/4" ones are the nicest.
I don't suppose anyone knows of a heavy-duty BLACK buckle? 99.99999% of them are silver or brass colored. I think something black might look better.....

Seconding Tanner. I have one that's years old and still in tip top shape. Only other belt I have that's any good is some Swedish army deadstock thing.

Tanner makes black buckled belts if that's your thing.
