How do I treat my razorburn rash? I'm miserable.
I've tried using hydrocortisone and witch hazel but it hasn't gone done unless I shave again

Seconding electric razor. Recently picked up Phillips Oneblade, actually pretty good so far.
It's not a super close shave, so you can go against the grain and not suffer for it, and it's really easy to use.

Get stridex pads, they'll help the bumps and lighten up the darkened areas. To do it naturally, let the beard grow until the hairs pop out and the skin heals fully, which will take around 2 months. Only use an electric razor, never manual. As a black guy, a very low beard will almost be invisible.

I'm for sure balding now and I'm just barely 21. The amount of hair coming out when I wash makes me want to paint a wall. I'm scared to cut it low to see the full extent of the damage.

Hold a soaked hot towel against the razor burn for a minute a few times a day to open the pores and hopefully get the inflammation down. You could use aloe vera gel too just rub it on there and let it air dry a few times a day until it goes away.

Went to get me one of those trendy hair cuts at the start of this year. First I got me twists. I didn't like it so I washed it off the same night. A month later I got myself dreads. Didn't like that either so I cut them off the same night. When my hair grew back I realized the front of my hairline was thinner than the rest of my hair, although I'm not balding at all

Anyone got experience with this? I read many articles and they said hair growth turns to normal in like 6-9 months and it has been 4.

Hair on the under-chin is fine, as long as it's not on your actual, vertical neck (guides suggest you keep it an inch from your neck to keep things clean looking).
After that, it's personal preference. I am not a stylist, and I have no idea what you're going for.
Hell, I barely have any idea what I'm going for these days.
From my neck, I shave everything up until slightly under the jawbone, then use the 1mm comb to level everything on my face except the chin area. Then I'm left with a high 5 o'clock shadow and a moderate goatee.
It's messy at the top, and lazy looking, but it does the job.

Then again, I'm fat, have fading scars on my cheeks and currently have way more head hair than I know what to do with, so that may not work for you.

Can anybody refer me a proper, low maintenance routine to reduce shrinkage?

Currently, using a shitty Garnier leave-in conditioner, followed by Jamaican black castor oil, with the occasional pomade with coconut and shea butter.


over the course of a few hours, my hair suffers from some annoying ass shrinkage and dryness.

I'd appreciate some tips on shit I should be doing or alternate methods.
