I just bite the bullet and buy shoes to fit width, not length, so I normally have a load of extra space in the toes.
I'm only a size 8 in UK though, so shoes never look oversized on me.

Birkenstock homie. Best life choice ever. I also wear y-3 but often they are a little long to get the width correct.

Funny how my clothing style has evolved to fit my footwear. It is worth it to have shoes that fit your feet nicely.
