I want to buy my boyfriend a nice backpack. Pictured is the one he currently used but it's breaking a bit and I want to get him a nicer one.
Requirements are durability, big enough to fit a ThinkPad X270, and looks good. I'm in the UK if that makes a difference, but willing to pay shipping costs from abroad.
Any ideas?

fjallraven greenland, I have a black one and it's amazing, it's really durable and water resistant, numerous times it has kept my belongings bone-dry when it was pouring outside.

>ThinkPad X270
>Not X230 with classic keyboard mod and extended battery
honestly, what do you even see in that guy? He probably doesn't even use the clit-mouse.

Is that just a meme or is it actually worth getting? I need to buy a laptop for my new job.

thanks

not that anon, but x230 and x230t are bulletproof and have such ridiculous extended batteries you can camp with the fucking thing.

I've got a Filson Ranger Backpack and I'm loving the hell out of it so far. Not sure how well it'll do with really bad rain, but it holds up 100% against Seattle drizzle.

The Duluth Pack Scout is on sale right now for $95, but it has less capacity and thinner canvas. The waterproof variety is $120 and only in dark tan (pictured).

Really nice thanks, are those leather straps strong?
>>12460544
The leather on my Filson is about an eighth of an inch thick and I don't see it breaking. I think the stitching would give out before the leather would.

My dark blue one.
I really like it and I'm glad I got a navy blue over my once desired dark green colour because I can actually wear this outside of "camp" or outdoor situations because of its more versatile colour.
However, I've only had it for two months and the string is fraying a bit and it's getting quite noticeable on the inside flap of the bag. Looks like a bunch of lint. Does this happen to you >>12459377?

Mine's also about two months old and the string is still like new. I'd contact fjallraven support if i was you, they most likely will send you a new string for free.
