If you walk around in these every day, even if they fit very well, I think you will have some pain. They are stiff. Of course it depends on your style. I mostly dress "professional" so a comfortable, affordable everyday shoe for me is a pair of Cole Haan drivers. But if you're looking at these for an everyday shoe that probably does not match your style at all.

These are the most comfy shoes ever as the breaking in process moulds the shoe to your foot. go with everything too. The only genuine complaint is that tumblr girls wear them but the people who will call you out on this never leave the house.

i have a pair of the 1461 shoes (84 last) which i bought about 4 years ago and have been wearing them to work 4-5 days a week ever since. took ages to break in (about 3 months of regular wear) but now they're the most comfortable shoes i own and are holding up perfectly, could probably do with a resole soon though.

yes but the difference between those shoes and doc martens is the gum soles. im sure we can say the same for those but besides the fact that martens last a lifetime at a relatively affordable price, they look wayyyyyyy more casual and day-to-day and you can make them work with much more imo

You bought the wrong size then. I was doing trips around London, on my feat for 10 hours and my docs never gave me hassle. You can wear them with dress pants but they need a polish or black jeans in any fade. Blue jeans can work too. I suppose joggers might be tricky.

use wax based boot polish such as kiwi or doc martens own brand. Doc martens use real leather but the very top layer is wax based, it usually comes off at the toe creases and toe cap. However this can be repaired with the right boot polish.
