Not saying he's a bad designer or stylist, on the contrary, he's probably one of my all-time favorites. He just did a lot of weeiird ass shit back in the day. On the other hand, Cav Empt stayed true to their aesthetic for as long as I can remember, which is why I put them this high. Similar stuff with Nbhd and wtaps, plus I just adore how they manipulate denim.

The more conservative pants and tops, especially outside of strictly monotone colors, can be applied to non-gothic styles pretty well if you know what you're doing.
