I only use Shea Moisture products atm (not out of some retarded brand loyalty, just because I got a good deal on buying them together). I co-wash twice a week (use a bit of natty shampoo if my hair's actually dirty from doing shit), deep condition (I make my own deep conditioner) every week or other week depending on when I can be bothered, and sometimes use this curl enhancing 'smoothie' if hair's looking dry.

Guy in my 20s, I have curly hair and want to grow it long (not puffy), so I need help keeping it controlled.

Reading this pic from young stalin on curly hair: [http://young-stalin.com/image.php?id=-infos--13367281710478.jpeg] it mentions that if I wash my hair (I assume they mean wash using shampoo) it should not be often, only washing with conditioner to keep the curls tame. However, I get a lot of dandruff so I don't know if I should do this since I use Head & Shoulders to treat my dandruff problem and am afraid if I stop washing daily I'll have so much dandruff they'll cast me on christmas plays to do the snow.

Is there any way to treat dandruff while keeping tame curls? Maybe a conditioner that helps? Will I be just fine if I don't wash often as stated by the guide?

I did use a product to keep them tame some time ago and that seemed to do the job (can't remember product name, will post later) but I dunno if I'm missing out on better ideas.

For the past ~6 years, I have been shaving all of my hair off every time it gets this long b/c it's just so much easier than doing anything with it. Before that I kept it about this short. Before that my hair looked a little like Ashton Kutcher.

Wet your hair thoroughly. Towel dry until damp. Throw mouse in there and apply thoroughly. Blow dry that shit on cool, high intensity. Get it roughly in the shape you want. Recently I've been thinking about cutting my hair myself at home with the hair clipper machine because now I only want very short haircuts and I don't give a shit about going to hairdressings to do this simple haircuts.
