levis 511

>>12288562
Levi's are too expensive in Europe

also 510 > 511
>>
>>12288569
how poor are you to not be able to afford Levi's
>>
>>12288655
Yuropoors and Ausfags pay more for Levi's. A pair of 501s in Australia will set you back about $91 USD.
>>
>>12288668
In Europe it's even worse. 100€ (140AUD) is pretty normal.
>>
>>12288655
its not not being able to afford it, more like not wanting to pay €100 or more for a pair of low quality jeans
>>
Abercrombie
>>
>>12288683
Ye, might as well get APC instead
>>
>>12288555
Just go to mid-end stores and try shit on, different fits work for different people. Levis are fuckawful quality and horribly inconsistent between cuts, don't even bother desu.
>>
>>12288688
>>12288767
>low quality
how
>>
wrangler
>>
quality control is terrible and one pair of a certain cut will often fit absolutely nothing like another pair of same style and size. Denim quality is pisspoor too.
>>
>>12288799
>denim quality is pisspoor too
how? the feel?
>>
gap is pretty cheap and quality isn't that bad, just don't get it from an outlet or factory store
>>
>>12288683
There's a clothing store nearby where all the Levi's are 100 euros but they're all -50% basically all year around
>>
My favorite pants are Dior, they fit perfectly on me. I also have a few Banana Republic and Hugo that fit pretty well too, check 'em out

walmart sells some good shit. open your mind son.

also they typically don't carry the good wranglers
>>

wow you are pretty much shopping at walmart like white trash
>>
From the ones not mentioned the ASOS own brand is good
>>
>>12288562
I know the joke but regardless I gotta say I got a really good pair of 511's, like I won the 511 lottery. Fit perfectly even like 6 months later.

Why is Cheap Monday so cheap compared to Levi's in EU?
Also, what's their fit that ressembles 511 the most? Slim or Relaxed? They all look super skinny to me.
>>
What I hate about my 510s is that they fit too tight on my ass and too wide/loose below the knes. I have a pair of jack and jones skinny which don't do that, but I can't find them irl anymore. Recommend me some others

Don't know why the Americans here get cagey about based Wranglers.

They're far superior to Levi's trash (I have both).

Bring em to a good tailor and get them tapered.

You're not going to get a good pair of jeans for less than £100 lad. Levis are only good for the huge amount of fits they do, the quality is terrible for how much you're paying.

Also if you really DO want levis, go to a thrift store, they usually have hundreds of pairs for sub £20
>>
>tfw haven't been able to find a pair of jeans that fits me well for over a year, been going higher and higher with my budget but still no luck

got the PERFECT fitting 511 levis for $10 like new

512 and 501ct beat both of those.

APC's "black" new standard 100% cotton jeans look gray. Is there any way to get a pair that's actually a dark black?

Also, are APC true to fit? I wear a 28 waist, so is it safe to get a 28?
>>
>>12292073
stop being fat desu
>>
>>12292473
my black raws don't look very grey to me, but i believe they sell washed black jeans that are darker if that's your concern
>Also, are APC true to fit?
no, take your waist size and subtract 2 when ordering raws; i'd probably subtract 1 for washed denim
>>
>>12292488

There are what I'm looking at. I can't find anything darker on the site that's not some kind of cotton blend. Are these what you have?
>>
>>12292495
yes
>>
>>12292503

Okay, so are they darker than they appear here or something?

Levis quality is amazing. They're wildly inconsistent though. And their fits aren't the best.

Here. They look gray rather than black.
>>
>>12292527
they look perfectly fine to me when i wear them outside, and they match the black steel of my computer case

if you need perfectly flat, dark black jeans you're better off looking for another pair

if you like the texture of the jeans as they appear in the photo you posted, go ahead and get them

i don't know if there's any more help i can give you
>>
>>12292550

Alright, thank you for taking the time to answer my questions. I like the jeans a lot, but I only really like wearing straight black jeans. I might buy a pair anyway and just resell them if I don't like them since they seem to be on sale.
>>
>>12291963
>been going higher and higher with my budget but still no luck
no wonder, nothing changes after a certain price point, you pay for the label
>>
>>12290328
They are cheap because they are low quality, they fit pretty tight.
>>
>>12288791
YEP
still good value & pretty decent quality.
>>
>>12289095
Cheap Monday is shit tier quality. Got 3 black jeans, one faded to gray after a couple of washes, the other two stayed black but both tore in the crotch area, one so bad, that my balls would fall out if I'd wear it.
>>
>>12293124
>both tore in the crotch area, one so bad, that my balls would fall out if I'd wear it.
yes, that happens to any jeans, when you don't buy your proper size, but smaller
>>
>>12292518
>>12292527
>those shiny buttons
is that nickel? please tell me that's not nickel
>>
>>12293148
it must be 100% silver, at least that would explain the price
>>
>>12293142
>when you don't buy your proper size, but smaller
I'm an 31x32 and got the Cheap Monday according to that size. Levi's 501 didn't tore in crotch, Scotch&Soda only tore at the knees but was pre distressed, even H&M Techstrech did pretty good for the price, only Cheap Monday went to complete shit.
>>
>>12288555
nudie has decent fits and is frequently on sale
>>
>>12293148
>>12293152
it's kind of ridiculous that they don't make that clear on their website. nickel allergy is pretty common, and nickel-pleated is considered the shitty, cheap alternative to stainless steel right now
>>
Is leg twist bad? Got a pair of jeans today that fit nicely but the right leg has the outseam twisted about 45 degrees left, towards my toes.
>>
>Live in Philippines
>Levis are cheaper here than in Europe or Australia
what the fuck
>>
>>12292473
idk about APC but Naked & Famous' black jeans are pitch black
I have two pairs of banana legs by OakNYC and those are black as night as well
>>
>>12293537
Can confirm, I have the naked and famous black power stretch, super skinny (actually not that skinny). The fades actually seem darker than the rest of the pants so they're probably not going to lose colour anytime soon. They've kind of become glossy instead of lightening at the fades because the warp and weft are both black.

Mine are 4 months old with no washes and fairly frequent wear. The rise is decent too, at least on the super skinny.
>>
>>12293907
those are the same ones I have
good taste, anon
>>
>>12290328
Who tf can fit in Cheap Mondays? I'm borderline underweight and I can barely pull them on
>>
>not washing jeans
why? how do you get the smell of sweaty ass off of them?
shut up
>>
>>12294957
Washing jeans removes the dye and makes the color fade quickly, if you have black jeans they will turn a shade lighter with every wash. Try not to wear jeans when you know you'll be exerting yourself physically. Also bathe daily, you'll be less likely to get bacterial buildup.
>>
>>12295026
how come my black jeans are still pitch black after like 20 washes?
>>
>>12291317

Yea I know that you aspie.
>>
>>12293163
>>12290374
>Nudie

Lean Dean or Thin Finn. I'm not ultra skinny. I like the fit of my 510s, I know thats kind of unhelpful because of inconsistent sizing.
>>

bc you're lying and ur jeans r shit

idk why that happened to you. i have a pair of them that i wear like 4 or 3 times a week and have had for a year and they are in great condition.
one of the few jeans that is tapered enough for super skelly legs
>>
>>12288791

i bet you don't even piss on your pants faggot
>>
>>12296906
>wasting piss instead of drinking it
>>
>>12293124

CM's quality has changed in the last few years. When I first bought a pair a few years ago they stayed dark and held up very well after a year of pretty intense wear like >>12296810 says.

I recently bought two pair and one faded after only a few washes and I had to throw them both away because of crotch blowouts after 6 months.

I just buy cheap H&M slim fits and wear these when I know I'm riding my bike or w/e. Throw them away when they begin to fade. For a nicer feel/look I have two pair of Acne's.
