Shouldn't happen if your form is good. Should be landing on your forefoot so there wouldn't be space for a rock to get stuck. I run trails in Luna's all the time and have had that happen about as much as getting a rock stuck in my sneakers. Hurts more in sneakers though desu because your steps in cushioned shoes are much heavier and careless than when you're wearing these.
