they definitely have a handful of good pieces from each season, usually the less hyped ones like the turtlenecks or button downs. it is way overhyped though, and a lot of the stuff is gross. i even like some of the accessories, but stuff like the brick is a little much

I actually really like some of their cut&sew pieces, and some of their collabs are great. A good chunk of it is really ugly and overhyped but other people seem to like it so whatever.

I'm not a fan of box logo tees/hoodies/sweatshirts though. I think they're ok and I wouldn't mind owning one purely because I like the brand but hypebeast fuckboys have fucked up the market now so not only are they ridiculously overpriced but you look like a complete douchebag wearing them.

in the past there have been some Supreme items I wanted to buy when the previews came out and at that point I usually occupied myself with research in to other similar options, every time I found something better and done way before Supreme so i just kinda gave up on the brand, I still check out the lookbooks, previews and especially the collabs but I don't buy anything from them for that reason
If I actually wanted to buy that shirt I would be searching for other options right now but I just can't be assed cause I don't care

I'm not super triggered by Supreme like /fa/ is, they have some nice stuff and also some meme shit. I just think paying 500 for a plain hoodie with a red logo on the front is damn silly, but to each their own I guess.

The fanbase can be pretty cancerous. I live in Tokyo and in fact was in Harajuku today at a second hand shop. These two dudes walk in, one of whom is wearing a Supreme hoodie with a Supreme beanie--and they both go over to the Supreme section to browse. Massive eye roll. (decided to post in this thread because of that story lol).

I have a lot of shit that would trigger /fa/ (BAPE jacket, Air Yeezy 1s, boost 750s...) but I would never wear any of that shit in combination. If you've got a bigtime/gaudy kind of piece, just wear one and make it the highlight of your outfit.

I don't have any problem with someone wearing like a Supreme Cap for example, as long as the rest of the outfit is basically light on the branding and more nondescript. You do like those dudes in the store you just end up a complete cringe victim.
