How do I get my hair to look like this every day with minimal effort? My hair looks average usually, I woke up today in a pool of sweat, and for whatever reason I really liked the way my hair looked.

Are there any good cuts for hair that's not super thin, just under average thickness? Mine is really soft and doesn't hold very well unless there's a lot of product involved, any suggestions?

My hair is extremely bipolar, and sometimes it's quite frustrating and deals a big blow to my self-confidence on days it refuses to cooperate.

I'm currently using mousse to hold it.

My hair is extremely soft one day (to the point where it just falls in front of my face and looks bad) and will be extremely dry the next day. I wash my hair daily, and use Bath and Body Works shampoo for men. I only occasionally use a hair dryer, I usually just use a towel to dry my hair.

I have my hair reaching just a few inches above my tailbone region. Usually pull it all back and drape the pony tail over one of my shoulders but recently I've been thinking about cutting it.
Maintaining it isn't too much of a hassle but it is time consuming.
