Not trying to be a dick, but have you actually ever worn an Acronym jacket? I mean, some are a little more out there, but the more standard shells are super decent from my experience. I can only speak for one I guess but the J1A-GT is probably the best shell I've ever purchased in terms of effectiveness while sacrificing no form whatsoever and being completely unique to itself. It looks really good and does everything it's supposed to and more (magnetic strip for headphones, jacketsling, escape zip, etc.) all while keeping you protected from the elements.

The ONLY disappointing part of it are the gravity pockets, for me. And I still have only seen it used with grace in the Acrnm videos.

Nikelab offers great quality pants, they treat their fabric with DWR coating, and they are usually made out of slightly stretchy technical chino material. definitely look into those. They run anywhere from $150-250, you can probably find some on sale though.

Qasa boots are a lot harder to pull off than regular Qasas, but try looking into cropped technical pants with a wider leg opening, or extremely tapered designs to rest on top.

You can get an Arc'Teryx LEAF jacket for half the price, with Gore-Tex Pro w/ meme pockets and zippers where you need them. Also backed up by the fact they're an actual outdoors company...and the durability of a military ready jacket.

acronym is objectively cool and part of what makes it cool is the scarcity.
What ruins a lot of good pieces is market saturation. Errolson avoids this trap by either (a) charing a premium price (as he does with Acronym proper) or (b) doing very limited runs (as he does with Acronym but also his collabs like ACG and SISP)
You can get some pretty nice errolson-designed (or at least inspired) techwear pants if you are quick on your feet.
This year's ACG cargos (~$200) and SISP comfort cotton gabardine cargos (~$300 on sale) were pretty solid. Material and build are in line with what you get from acronym.

They charge 800 max for their shells, and they have a marketing budget, amongst other expenses. Along with a name known for its performance in the outdoors.

Errolson charges 1200-1500 for shells using similar materials, but with more intricate holes/straps/pockets. The problem is he touts himself as putting all of his money towards R&D no marketing, small crew, etc.

To me its just him trying to pass off as a high fashion brand, and that's fine I guess.

Someone who is into techwear is really into the functionality and pragmatism of the piece, Acronym runs very counter this point of view with high prices and frills.

He makes great looking stuff, don't get me wrong, you just won't catch me spending 1.5k for a hardshell when I can buy two from Arc'Teryx Veilance or LEAF.
