there's not as much info about him compared to other designers out right now. this should give you a quick run down on him.

Basically he went to The Royal Academy of Antwerp like every other great such as Kris Van Assche, Ann Demeulemeester, Martin Margiela, Raf Simons, Dries Van Noten. Also, fun fact, Vincent van Gogh attended the Royal Academy. Ackermann then started his own womans line on 2001 or 2002 I think. Then 2 years later Ackermann won the Swiss Textile Award which, like any other Swiss Textile Award recipient, marked his legacy from then on. He is a very interesting designer if you are the type to like avant garde with many different textures and rhythms.
