so what's new here? styrofoam midsole, primeknit upper but uglier/dumber silhouette than the UBs
Adidas is on a slippery slope, they will need to bring something new to the table to be able to stay relevant in 2017, this definitely won't cut it

NMD OG and EQTS sold out and its January. Their Q1 looks better than ever. flyknits came along, then boost killed their hype and since then, they're the most hyped sneakers
>the question still remains, what's new? you can rehash the same shit for only so long
When you have other companies doing subpar, it doesn't matter whether you think its a re-hash or not. adidas is the coolest sneaker brand at the moment. And until nike, asics or any other sneaker brand pulls the next trend, adidas is fine
it's not the same, bringing classics back from the dead (which is not even a Nike specialty, Adidas does the same with certain models) or rehashing fairly new stuff over and over until people get tired of it eventually
all eyez on Kanye i guess
I'm a diehard Nikehead but Nike needs to give itself a break.
Adidas is on top right now because they're making innovative and most importantly, comfortable, shoes. The Collabs help, but it's only a part of the puzzle. Nike needs to get back where they were circa 1996-2002. They used to put out so many interesting silhouettes with unique materials and technology/comfort that killed the competition. Since Knight stepped down in 04, it's been all downhill and the releases keeping them most relevant are retro designs 15-35 years old.
The closest thing they've had to a classic in the last 16 years is the Hurache 2k4 and Roshe, which is basically a neutered Presto rehash.
During the Alpha Project era, Nike was unbeatable in terms of aesthetics and performance. Now they're just complacent with their history and reputation. It's time for them to ramp up the quality and hire some designers willing to take risks again. Their new shoes have become downright boring. It's pathetic that the Presto at 17 years old looks more contemporary than 99% of their 2016/17 lineup.
>mfw i could've bought them before the hype, back when they were in the store but decided to pass
could've made an easy 300 bux
the eqts are pretty hard actually. does anyone know how bulky they look when worn?
they look about as bulky as any chucnky running sneaker maybe a little sleeker. not as sleek as an UB or flyknit racer but not as chunky as a pair of NB.
I hate that hot pink shit though. if they needed to add a color couldn't they have picked a darker red?
The EQT support 93/16 (or the support ultra as they call it now) is really comfy as well
Comfiest shoe I own, even better than UB's in my opinon
You might want to take a look, since you can find these on sale for a pretty decent price too
it'll be adidas own undoing. too many models, none of the models ever available, all of them with the shitty appearance of boost.
yeah they're comfy but not $180 comfy. and they don't go with every fit, they look shitty on everything except skinny fit pants.
and honestly i think everyone is getting super fucking tired of seeing white hypebeasts walking around with manbun/undercut and heavy taper joggers and boost trying to look comfy urbanninja. they don't look cool, they're fuckboys.
and it's all adidas fault. they made it so only fuckboys could get their shoes, then they catered to these retard fuckboys. real people don't wear this shit, real people get shoes they can replace and doesn't make them look like a faggot fuckboy.
gets it. fuck adidas, they finally get a decent product and they fuck it up by making it so only ugly white suburban kids can buy them
BECAUSE OF RETARD FUCKBOY WANNABE HYPEBEASTS SPENDING MOMMY'S MONEY
it's the most accurate word to describe the demographic of people who sit around on their phone all fucking week following 10 twitter resalers and shoe industry insiders waiting for a drop for fucking shoes. seriously these are the people adidas wants to represent their brand? LOL
